3 times Triple H and Stephanie McMahon broke up in real life and on WWE TV
Despite appearing together a few times on WWE TV earlier, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon barely knew each other before they became an on-screen couple in late 1999. The Game stated that he would only greet The Billion Dollar Princess if they passed each other in the hallway.
However, as the two worked closely together, their on-screen love story turned legitimate. After dating for nearly three years, the former WWE Women's Champion and the current Chief Content Officer tied the knot in October 2003. They now have three daughters.
While Triple H and Stephanie have had a lot of good times over the past 25 years, their relationship on-screen and in real life has also gone through some tough times. The power couple broke up multiple times for different reasons.

#3. Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon forced Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to break up
When Triple H and Stephanie McMahon started dating in 2000, The Billion Dollar Princess' father, former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, initially gave them his blessing. However, he later took it away.
In his book, Triple H Making The Game: Triple H's Approach to a Better Body, The King of Kings disclosed that he and Stephanie adhered to her father's wishes. Hence, they broke up for 10 months before they got back together. This time, Vince did not stand in their way.
"As for Steph and me, we tried to adhere to Vince's wishes and cool it off, but after a while it just didn't work. It was too late to stop. We were in love. We ended up getting back together after about 10 months, and Vince gave us the green light for good this time," Triple H wrote.
By dating Triple H, Stephanie McMahon broke her father's instructions not to get romantically involved with WWE Superstars.
#2. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon broke up on-screen in 2002
The Game and The Billion Dollar Princess got married on-screen in 1999. However, their kayfabe marriage ended in 2002 when Triple H demanded a divorce.
After The Game's return from injury in January 2002, Stephanie claimed she was pregnant when she felt he was planning to leave her. As they were about to renew their vows in a ceremony on the February 11 episode of WWE RAW, Triple H's mother-in-law, Linda McMahon, called him to tell him the truth about his wife's alleged pregnancy.
At the ceremony, the former World Heavyweight Champion surprised The Billion Dollar Princess by dubbing her a liar before ending their marriage.
"As of this moment, Stephanie, our marriage, it's over. We are through," Triple H said.
The Cerebral Assassin then took out Vince McMahon and pushed Stephanie to the ground before throwing his wedding ring at her to end their relationship.
#1. Stephanie split from Triple H when she discovered he was still living with Chyna
Before entering into a romantic relationship with Stephanie McMahon, Triple H was dating Chyna in real life. However, the former WWE Champion was still living with The Ninth Wonder of The World when he started his relationship with The Billion Dollar Princess.
Although he and Chyna were still living under the same roof, The Game told Stephanie that he and the WWE Hall of Famer were not a couple anymore and were working on solving that problem. However, when two months passed and Triple H was still living with Chyna, The Billion Dollar Princess stopped talking to the 14-time World Champion, as she disclosed in an interview with Howard Stern in 2002.
"Supposedly, they [Triple H and Chyna] weren't dating at that point. They had a house together, and they're trying to get out of the house or whatever. We saw each other for a couple months, and then when it came apparent to me that obviously she is living in his house and something's going on, we stopped talking for a long time," Stephanie said.
