3 top WWE heels who can enter SummerSlam as babyfaces aka the good guys

After Money in the Bank took place this past Saturday, WWE and its fans now turn their attention towards one of the biggest shows of the year, SummerSlam.

The 37th edition of the Summer Spectacular will take place on Saturday, August 3rd, and will be held live from the home of the Cleveland Browns in Ohio. The show will see the winners of the King and Queen of the Ring, Gunther, and Nia Jax, challenge for the World Heavyweight and the WWE Women's titles, respectively.

While most superstars' personas seem to be set in stone for the following months, we will look at 3 WWE Superstars who are currently booked as heels but could potentially enter the show as fan-favorite babyfaces.

#3 - The World Heavyweight Champion is left out to dry

At Money in the Bank, Damian Priest retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre, who joined the match halfway through after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract.

In what was a shocking result for many, Priest added more weight to the contest ahead of it. He declared if he lost at Money in the Bank, he would leave The Judgment Day for good, claiming that he did not need the group to win anymore.

With Priest seemingly ok to fight without his teammates, fans may see the rest of The Judgment Day turn on him in the build-up to SummerSlam.

Following this betrayal, Damian Priest will have no trouble establishing himself as a babyface as he is set to go up against one of the biggest heels in the company, Gunther.

#2 - Mami's WWE return delights the fans

At WrestleMania 40, Rhea Ripley was on top of the world after she retained her Women's World Title against Becky Lynch. However, she would have to drop the belt a week or so later due to injury.

During her reign, Rhea Ripley, alongside the rest of the Judgment Day, was seen as one of the most conniving and villainous performers on the roster. However, after putting in multiple top performances over time and not needing her faction to pick up wins, she began to earn the respect of the fans.

In her absence, her rival Liv Morgan has become the new Women's World Champion and has even looked to earn the affection of her on-screen partner Dominik Mysterio.

Morgan also helped Ripley's Judgment Day teammates Finn Balor and JD McDonagh win the World Tag Team Championships.

One person who is excited about the return of Rhea Ripley is the Hall of Famer Bully Ray, who spoke about the potential story that WWE can tell between the two women on Busted Open Radio.

"This is a monster story involved. The story of Liv and Dom, Dom and the Judgment Day, Dom and whatever happens when Rhea comes back, we’re in the storytelling business, as you know."

Whether Rhea Ripley faces Morgan at SummerSlam or makes a surprise appearance after Liv's title match, you can guarantee that the former Women's World Champion will receive an incredible pop from the crowd in Cleveland.

#1 - The real Tribal Chief stands up for his family

After losing his Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns chose to take some well-deserved time off after having held the gold for almost 4 years.

In his absence, his cousin and brother to the Usos, Solo Sikoa, has taken it upon himself to hijack The Bloodline faction from within by kicking out Jimmy Uso and the Wiseman Paul Heyman.

In their stead, Solo Sikoa brought in a trio of savages, including Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and the Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu. All four superstars have brought a much more violent side to The Bloodline.

Roman Reigns' place at the top of his family was questioned this past Friday on SmackDown after Solo Sikoa explicitly stated that his cousin is no longer The Tribal Chief after he lost the title at WrestleMania.

"This...is an Ula Fala. This makes me the Tribal Chief," Sikoa said. "This is not what I wanted, but this is what my family needed. Roman Reigns was not man enough to defend our Title at WrestleMania. He was not man enough to defend our legacy against Cody Rhodes and his legacy. Therefore he shall no longer call himself the Tribal Chief because I'm the Tribal Chief now. And I'm going to take back our WWE Undisputed Title from Cody Rhodes."

All signs suggest Solo Sikoa will challenge Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam for the WWE Championship, especially after he pinned the Undisputed WWE Champion at MITB.

If Rhodes does indeed face Solo, fans may see a returning babyface, Roman Reigns, come down to the ring to ironically make the save for Cody whilst Sikoa and the new-look bloodline beat down his longtime rival.
