3 Reasons why WrestleMania 34 could be a big disappointment
WrestleMania has been one of the biggest sporting events of the year for over three decades, and the WWE have always saved their best for their flagship pay-per-view show. From celebrity appearances, dream matches and returning legends, WrestleMania has always been an event that has delivered amazing drama and excitement to the WWE universe.
However, the WWE seems to have gotten it really wrong this year, with this year's Showcase of The Immortals feeling somewhat ordinary and dull. There have even been reports that ticket sales have been lower than expected, which further compounds the point that the WWE seems to have taken their eyes off the ball for this year's WrestleMania event.
Whilst some people might be more optimistic about what the show has to deliver, I am somewhat sceptical, and here we will look at 5 undeniable reasons that this year's WrestleMania will be the worst in years.
#1 Lack of star power
If there is one thing that WrestleMania has always had, it's star power. From returning legends to celebrity appearances, there has been no shortage of big-name appearances on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
However, for this year's WrestleMania, it seems that a deficit in the star power department might be likely. With The Rock's appearance at WrestleMania in doubt and no real mention of any other big celebrities who might make an appearance at the event, fans hoping to see their favorite legends returning or celebrities making a guest appearance might be sorely disappointed.
Think back to previous WrestleMania events where fans knew that they could expect appearances from The Rock, Donald Trump and even Floyd Mayweather. Sadly, WrestleMania 34 does not deliver any such anticipation.
