3 ways Bron Breakker could win back the WWE Intercontinental Championship before 2024 endsĀ
Bron Breakker's first title run on the WWE main roster came to an end last night on RAW. However, he may have a few tricks up his sleeve to reclaim the prestigious Intercontinental Championship.
There's no denying that Jey Uso's triumphant win on the latest episode of RAW sent a sonic boom of excitement through the WWE Universe. The reward was long overdue for the former Bloodline member, who is now among the popular stars in the company to hold the workhorse title.
Now, it will be interesting to see how long he can keep his newly won championship safe from the 26-year-old juggernaut. That said, here are three ways Jey can drop the title back to Breakker before the end of the year.
#3. Bron Breakker to learn from his mistakes and defeat Jey Uso in their rematch
Despite being booked as an unstoppable force of nature, Bron Breakker's main-roster record hasn't been perfect. His inexperience has already cost him a couple of big matches.
In the buildup to his match with Jey Uso, Breakker kept reminding the challenger that none of his family members had ever beaten a Steiner. The two-time NXT Champion's overconfidence was all over the place and was likely the reason he dropped the title less than two months after winning it.
In the coming weeks, if Breakker undergoes a character change and approaches the possible rematch with Jey with a humbled demeanor, there's a high chance he could reclaim the Intercontinental Title.
#2. The recently dethroned champion to enlist The Judgment Day's help
So far in his main roster run, Breakker has proved himself to be a credible lone wolf. His speed and strength are the only allies he has needed to get the jobs done.
But his unexpected defeat at the hands of 'Main Event' Jey on RAW might prompt him to start partnering up with fellow heels on the roster. If that is something he considers, he could forge a temporary alliance with The Judgment Day to help him dethrone the former Bloodline member.
Given that the villainous faction is already feuding with Jey, it might not take a lot of convincing for them to aid Breakker in his potential rematch. Furthermore, such a move would highlight that he is as much brains as he is 'Bron.'
#1. Breakker to keep attacking potential #1 contenders for the WWE IC Title until he wins it back
Breakker is no stranger to disrupting matches by laying out all the competitors involved. Interestingly, that could be his strategy for reclaiming WWE's workhorse title.
There's no denying that the WWE RAW roster is tremendously stacked. So, Jey Uso will have no trouble finding challengers to defend the IC Title against. However, he might not get to wrestle these competitive bouts against different names if Bron Breakker decides to keep the Intercontinental Championship picture reserved for himself.
In short, the former champion could keep interfering in Jey's matches or laying out his opponents well ahead of time until he gets his win from the last episode of RAW back.
