3 Ways WWE could keep The Fiend interesting over time

The Fiend
The Fiend

The Fiend is arguably one of the greatest characters to grace professional wrestling in recent memory. Just when we thought he was done and dusted, the creative genius of Bray Wyatt came up with a whole new character that is based on hurting those who inflicted pain upon him in the past.

A deranged sociopath running a children's show, who keeps saying "Remember, fireflies. I'll light the way and all you have to do... is let me in." It's brilliant.

After reinventing himself, it didn't take long for Bray Wyatt to claim the top spot in the company. He won the Universal title from Seth Rollins in his third match at Crown Jewel 2019. According to reports, he is currently the No.1 merchandise seller in WWE.

The company has definitely hit a jackpot with this character, but with already winning the Universal Championship and with a character of this kind, what creative decisions could WWE make to ensure that The Fiend doesn't get stale and stays on top of the mountain?

#3 Live Firefly Fun House segments

Firefly Fun House is where Bray Wyatt gathers all his 'fireflies' and interacts with them in a way that sends a message to The Fiend's victims.

The concept of Firefly Fun House has been the same since its introduction but with amazing acting and creativity, Bray Wyatt has managed to keep our eyes locked in during all the episodes.

These segments are recorded and shown on the screen. When Seth Rollins burned down the Firefly Fun House, Wyatt asked Rollins, "How did you find it? Are you dead?" which left the fans confused of its existence.

The Firefly Fun House Wyatt and The Fiend are portrayed as two different personalities and the current Universal Champion always refers to his alter-ego as "he". The puppets from the Firefly Fun house made a discreet cameo backstage in June, but the friendly show host Bray Wyatt has not made a live appearance on WWE TV yet. He always delivers a message from the screen that is usually followed by his alter-ego, The Fiend, launching an attack.

Having Bray Wyatt appearing live in the ring would certainly be a breath of fresh air going forward. Wyatt interacting with his opponent face to face and suddenly changing into The Fiend to decimate him could make a good addition to The Fiend's wide repertoire.
