Shane McMahon accepted the challenge of Kevin Owens, and the two Superstars are set to face each other at SummerSlam.
Charlotte Flair suffered a shocking loss against Ember Moon. Apollo Crews tussled with the Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, and the latter was victorious. While Kofi Kingston faced Samoa Joe in a singles match, Shawn Michaels was the special guest of the Miz TV.
Here we discuss three ways WWE surprised us on SmackDown Live this week.
#3 Dolph Ziggler Superkicked Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels had a memorable night at RAW Reunion when DX teamed up with Seth Rollins to have a brawl with the Club. After that, the WWE Hall of Famer appeared on SmackDown Live. As a matter of fact, he was a special guest on Miz TV.
While the A-Lister was having an interesting interview with Michaels, Dolph Ziggler interrupted the segment. The Show-off also appeared on the Miz TV last week. Things got heated between Ziggler and Michaels as the latter called the former a "Second Rate Shawn Michaels wannabe". Ziggler surprised everyone when he delivered a vicious Superkick to Michaels.
Judging by the segment, Ziggler is likely to fight the Miz at SummerSlam, however, Michaels could be part of this rivalry. Considering Michaels was knocked down by a Superkick, he will be seeking his revenge.
