2018 was a hell of a year for the WWE. They started the year with a bang by giving the fans what they wanted at the Royal Rumble PPV. They gave the fans a solid WrestleMania PPV but then followed it up with an extra dose of unnecessary PPVs which just bored the fans.

However, WWE Creative realized this mistake and soon did away with the brand exclusive PPVs. After WrestleMania 34, the average of PPVs/months started reducing as fans started getting quality product. But, things worsened as the year ended as WWE Raw and SmackDown Live received the lowest viewership numbers of all time in early December. Vince McMahon and co. then decided to step up and freshen things up on the main roster and promised a much improved product in 2019.

In 2018, a lot of PPVs took place which meant that there were a lot of unnecessary match-ups as well on those PPVs. So, here are the 3 PPV matches of 2018 the WWE Universe would have forgotten about -

Daniel Bryan is the WWE Champion on SD Live currently but he was battling for the SmackDown Live Tag Team titles last year at the Extreme Rules PPV.

His former tag team partner, Kane, made an unexpected return to the blue brand to save Bryan from a merciless attack by the Bludgeon Brothers. The then SD Live General Manager Paige then made a Tag Team Championship match official for the Extreme Rules PPV, which saw the Tag Team champions retain their belts.

However, it was a memorable moment for Team Hell No fans, as they saw the team re-unite after a long time. Things have changed drastically since then, as Erick Rowan has become an ally of Daniel Bryan now!
