3 WWE Ruthless Aggression Era superstars that Triple H would've booked better than Vince McMahon

WWE officially entered the Triple H era earlier this year following Vince McMahon's exit from the company. Having inherited the creative reigns from McMahon back in 2022, The Game has made World Wrestling Entertainment his own, at least regarding what we see in the squared circle. And, it's safe to say, so far so good.

Triple H's reign has brought about a lot of changes. Superstars are thriving more, and the product is flourishing, both in terms of TV ratings and show attendance. Some may even say, this is the best version of the WWE in quite a while. Now, that makes one wonder, what if The Cerebral Assassin had taken over earlier?

In particular, what if Triple H was in charge of the Ruthless Aggression Era? Which superstars would have thrived under him instead of Vince McMahon? Well, here are three stars he would've booked better than Mr. McMahon.

#3. Gail Kim could have led the way for the Women's Division in the Ruthless Aggression Era

Before Triple H assumed control of the company, the Women's Division lacked uniqueness. While there were notable stars like Trish Stratus and Lita during the Ruthless Aggression Era, overall, the division was not given much importance.

This can be attributed to the lack of acknowledgment from Vince McMahon towards the talents of many female wrestlers, particularly during the Ruthless Aggression Era. Primary among them is none other than Gail Kim.

The 47-year-old is frequently praised as one of the most remarkable female wrestlers of all time, especially because of her achievements after leaving WWE.

From 2002 to 2004, Kim was a part of WWE and managed to win the Women's Championship. Despite this, she was unexpectedly let go from the company, prompting her to sign with TNA, where she became a celebrated figure and was later inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2016.

Not capitalizing on her talent was undoubtedly a missed opportunity, and perhaps things would have been different under The King of Kings.

#2. Goldberg's first run with WWE was nothing short of disappointing

In 2003, Vince McMahon successfully recruited a highly sought-after talent, Bill Goldberg, to join the company. Goldberg, a 57-year-old WCW legend, had high hopes placed on him in WWE. However, his tenure only lasted a year, despite signing a one-year contract. This outcome was somewhat disappointing to many fans.

Despite being recognized as a standout performer, his choice to not renew his contract led to his tenure during the Ruthless Aggression Era being viewed as disappointing. Goldberg mentioned disagreements with Vince McMahon and dissatisfaction with the product as the factors for his departure. Although his rivalry with Triple H remains unresolved, there are rumors that the outcome could have been different if Triple H had a position of influence at that time.

#1. Bobby Lashley could have been the face of WWE under Triple H

Bobby Lashley did not receive the acknowledgment he deserved during the Ruthless Aggression Era, even though he had some success under Vince McMahon. His achievements, including winning the ECW World Championship twice, did not elevate him to the level of greatness. Despite his impressive record, he never quite reached his deserved status as a WWE Champion.

Lashley was a powerful presence and was beloved by fans. He made a lasting impact on WWE history with his involvement in a memorable WrestleMania match that resulted in Mr. McMahon getting his head shaved. Despite returning a decade later, The All Mighty never really got to work under Triple H. Yes, The Game did take over in 2022, but McMahon returned to power behind the scenes.

At the end of the day, The Cerebral Assassin never got to work with prime Bobby Lashley, and if he did, there is no doubt he could have been the face of WWE.
