3 WWE stars who could join Roman Reigns in the formation of The Bloodline 2.0
After Roman Reigns' historic 1316-day reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion came to an end at WrestleMania 40 in April, fans thought that The Bloodline would soon come tumbling down.
However, while the original iteration of the faction is seemingly long gone, the group's longtime enforcer Solo Sikoa has now declared himself as the new Tribal Chief.
As the self-declared Head of the Table, Sikoa has added the vicious Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and also the recently debuted Jacob Fatu to the group.
With The Bloodline once again going unchecked, fans are yearning for a returning Roman Reigns to take down his faction that his cousin has since hijacked.
In order to take on the new look version of The Bloodline, Reigns will surely have to enlist help from others. Let's take a look at 3 WWE stars who may join forces with Roman in what could be a potential Bloodline civil war.
#3 - Roman Reigns turns to one of his closest allies
While he tried to leave The Bloodline and Roman Reigns at one point, Jimmy Uso has always seemed to be a loyal follower of the real Head of the Table.
Alongside his brother Jey, Jimmy Uso was part of the original lineup of The Bloodline, which saw the three family members dominate the WWE for almost 3 years.
Since Jey left the faction last year, the group started to waver, with Jimmy seemingly staying in the group out of fear rather than loyalty. However, after Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga kicked Jimmy out of the group on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 40, he and Roman Reigns now seem to have a common goal and enemy once again.
One person who wants to reunite with Jimmy is Jey Uso, who recently pleaded on an episode of WWE RAW for his brother to leave SmackDown and join him on the red brand.
"Messing with The Bloodline over there, you’re going down the deep, dangerous road. I mean, they're adding members over there we don’t even know about. As far as Jimmy goes, I told him to come with me."
#2 - The Right Hand Man comes home
As well as Jimmy Uso, Jey took his career to new heights as part of The Bloodline. Before his 'Yeet' catchphrase took over WWE, Uso was working as The Right-Hand Man next to Roman Reigns on the blue brand, which saw him earn the title of Main Event Jey Uso.
Despite being a part of Monday Night RAW at the moment, given how his brother was assaulted by Solo and Tama Tonga, Jey may have to jump over to SmackDown to stop the new look bloodline before it gets out of hand.
While he left The Bloodline in dramatic circumstances last year, family trumps all hatred. During a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Jey Uso was asked if he would consider rejoining forces with Roman and Jimmy in order to take down Solo and the rest of The Bloodline.
"Family fight all the time. My answer would be 'Yeah, I would like to run a babyface Bloodline back, let alone against Solo Sikoa, and now it's Tama Tonga and whoever else he wants to bring in.' But I think the people would really dig seeing a civil war."
#1 - The Honorary Uce chooses his family
An unlikely but arguably fan favorite of The Bloodline in recent years was undoubtedly The Honorary Uce, Sami Zayn.
Originally hated by many members of the family, Sami earned the trust of The Usos and Reigns over time to become a full-fledged part of the group.
Despite being kicked out and having a rivalry with Reigns, Sami's friendship with Jey continues to this day, with the two stars arguably being the biggest babyfaces on Monday Night RAW today.
In what was a huge part of his WWE career, Sami Zayn was on the Out of Character podcast discussing how it was teaming with Roman Reigns and The Usos as a part of The Bloodline.
"Whatever vision I had in my head, it actually exceeded. There were so many gifts that land in your lap when you’re doing a story that long. Things you didn’t count on that take it to a whole other level. In the case of The Bloodline, a lot of it was stuff you couldn’t plan. Like some of the interactions with Jimmy and Jey and just the chemistry on screen as well, especially with those two, and with Roman. There’s just a great chemistry with all of us as performers, but some of those things you just could not have planned.”
With the new-look version of The Bloodline now boasting four members, Roman Reigns will certainly need to have an equal number of people on his side if he is to tear down the faction that he originally started.
