3 WWE stars who could be the real mastermind behind the attack on Paul Heyman
Paul Heyman made his choice and paid a painful price. The current Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa, held a Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony on SmackDown to introduce Jacob Fatu and have the family acknowledge him.
When Sikoa demanded Heyman's endorsement, The Wiseman claimed that he loved the former NXT North American Champion, but wouldn't call him his "Tribal Chief." A brutal 4-on-1 assault ensued that saw Heyman taking a Triple Powerbomb through the table and a Splash from Fatu.
While it appears that Sikoa is firmly calling the shots for The Bloodline, many in the wrestling world believes that another mastermind, perhaps a more senior member of The Anoa'i Family, is whispering into Sikoa's ears.
On that note, let's look at three WWE stars who could be the real mastermind behind the attack on Paul Heyman.
#3. Haku could have convinced The Bloodline to savagely assault Paul Heyman
The wrestling world was genuinely concerned for Paul Heyman's health at the end of this week's SmackDown. At 58, The Father of ECW should not be taking painful bumps, like Triple Powerbombs through the announce table.
The brutal nature of the attack points to a remorseless individual like Haku. Considered by many veterans to be one of the toughest wrestlers of all time, the 65-year-old could be behind The Wiseman's vicious beatdown.
It is also worth noting that Haku is the father of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, a fact repeatedly acknowledged by the commentators. Therefore, he had convenient access to The Bloodline.
Furthermore, Heyman once expressed the motives for not including Haku's sons in The Bloodline previously, claiming that they were too dangerous. Angered by The Wiseman's comments, the former WCW Hardcore Champion could have plotted the assault.
#2. WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi
Rikishi is another prominent member of The Anoa'i Family who could be behind The Bloodline's recent actions. Although he was a jovial figure on-screen, The Hall of Famer trained his youngest son, Solo Sikoa - the man leading The Bloodline into a dangerous path.
He also trained The New Enforcer of The Bloodline - Jacob Fatu. Therefore, he has plenty of connections to the current members of The Bloodline. Rikishi could play a significant role in the ongoing saga.
The former Intercontinental Champion could very well replace Paul Heyman as The Wiseman for this iteration of The Bloodline. Later, when Roman Reigns and The Usos return, he could switch sides too.
#1. The Rock is The Final Boss of The Bloodline
When The Rock returned earlier this year, he started calling himself "The Final Boss." Although he may have been unsuccessful in saving The Bloodline from destruction at WrestleMania XL, Rock could slowly be rebuilding his family through Solo Sikoa.
The Final Boss reluctantly acknowledged Roman Reigns earlier this year, hinting at some tension between the two cousins. He also appeared on the night after WrestleMania XL at WWE RAW to put Cody Rhodes on notice, seemingly acting of his own volition.
WWE could be building towards another civil war between two separate divisions of The Anoa'i Family. The Old Bloodline, headed by Roman Reigns, vs. The New Bloodline, enforced by Solo Sikoa but guided by The Rock. The ultimate goal would be booking Reigns vs. The Rock.
