3 WWE superstars who should retire in 2019
Professional Wrestling is a demanding job, and the body takes a lot of punishments. The WWE superstars have a hectic schedule, as they are on the road for over 300 days. As a result, it takes a toll on the body, and the age slows down the performance in the squared circle.
WWE has many new talented wrestlers, but several veterans are still active in the ring. Numerous WWE superstars have been wrestling for decades. Some legendary superstars occasionally fight, while other superstars are not active but have not announced their retirement.
It is not possible to guess who will hang up the boots in 2019. However, an assumption can be made after considering their age and performance in the squared circle. Here we discuss three superstars who should retire in 2019.
#3 Batista
Batista has become a successful Hollywood actor, but he could retire from the squared circle this year. Currently, the Animal is not an active wrestler, but he could return for a match at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
He appeared on the 1000th episode of Smackdown Live where he teased a match against Triple H. The former Evolution members might lock horns at Wrestlemania 35.
Batista was a massive name in the Ruthless Aggression Era, when he attained plenty of success. He won the world title six times, and the tag team titles four times. Batista won the Royal Rumble match twice and he main-evented Wrestlemania twice in his illustrious career. He competed in several high profile matches.
Batista's run was disappointing when returned in 2013. Though he returned as a face, the WWE Universe was not behind him. He headlined Wrestlemania 30, but he left the company shortly after. The 50-year old entertained the WWE Universe in his prime and this year could be a perfect time to hang up his boots.
