30-year-old WWE star who’s been out of action to attack Zoey Stark at Money in the Bank? Exploring the possibility
Zoey Stark shocked WWE fans this past Monday. She defeated Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile in a Triple Threat Qualifier to earn entry into the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. That bout is also set to feature Chelsea Green, Lyra Valkyria, IYO SKY, Naomi, and Tiffany Stratton.
The contest is sure to be an epic one and any of the six WWE stars involved could win the contest and that includes Zoey Stark. Unfortunately, though, things might not go as expected. There is a chance that Sonya Deville will end up costing Zoey the win.
The 30-year-old recently returned to Monday Night RAW following a near year-long absence due to injury and has repeatedly attempted to have business conversations of some kind with Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. Ultimately, however, Sonya has been rebuffed. This could lead to a screwjob finish at Money in the Bank.
Shayna Baszler has been the one who's been mostly against doing business with Sonya Deville following the latter's WWE return, but as far as fans know, Zoey hasn't put her foot down and accepted The Jersey Devil's offer as well.
If fans know anything about Sonya, it is that the former Women's Tag Team Champion can be vindictive. If she is offended by Shayna and Zoey rebuffing her offer, costing Stark the win could be something that shows what happens if you disrespect the former mixed martial artist.
Sonya Deville could be putting together a stable in WWE
Regardless of what the 30-year-old does at WWE Money in the Bank, her plans are the most fascinating aspect of this story. Sonya Deville isn't one to stay out of the spotlight for very long, nor is she someone to hold back her thoughts.
That is what makes this situation so fascinating. Sonya is clearly plotting something, but she is yet to tell the world. It appears, however, that she is interested in forming a faction on Monday Night RAW.
Supposing that Shayna Baszler and Zoey Starks haven't yet burned bridges with The Jersey Deville, the three could unite and attempt to take over Monday Night RAW and perhaps target both tag team gold and the Women's World Championship.
There are other stars Sonya could potentially recruit on the RAW brand too. Kiana James is new to the show and may want to make friends. Alternatively, Raquel Rodriguez could be a perfect person for Sonya to both unite with and mentor on the red brand moving forward when she returns to action.
