35-year-old megastar to return to WWE after two years and help Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle? Possibility explored

Drew McIntyre is set to face Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Clash at the Castle. While The Judgment Day is banned from ringside and won't be able to interfere in the match, the Scottish Warrior will still have to keep a close eye on CM Punk. However, there is one name that could help McIntyre if the need arises.

Drew McIntyre is set to headline the second Clash at the Castle in front of his home fans. The Scottish Warrior faced Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the PLE two years back but was unable to win the title due to interference from Solo Sikoa.

Austin Theory also tried to cash in the Money in the Bank at the first Clash at the Castle but the young star was stopped in his tracks by Tyson Fury. Fury also shared a heartfelt moment with McIntyre as the duo sang together after the latter's loss to Roman Reigns. While the 35-year-old was not able to help Drew against an unexpected attack from Sikoa, he could redeem himself by helping the former WWE Champion in case CM Punk tries to interfere in the proceedings.

Drew McIntyre did not like singing with Tyson Fury after loss at WWE Clash at the Castle

While Tyson Fury came to the ring to console Drew McIntyre after his loss to Roman Reigns, the former WWE Champion did not like singing with the boxing megastar as he had just lost one of the biggest matches of his career.

"I was so happy getting Clash in Wales and doing the first [UK] stadium show since SummerSlam '92, getting to main event. [I] obviously wasn't happy getting screwed and the worst moment of my life, singing that stupid song afterwards," he said.

However, the Scottish Warrior is determined to go a step further this time and walk out as World Heavyweight Champion:

"But I'm very happy that you persevered, you believed [that] you keep working and you might just get a redo. It's not just a redo, it couldn't be any more perfect, it's literally in Glasgow. Where I went to [University] for four years. 30 minutes from here is where I grew up. We've gotta make it right this time. Because me, my family, the UK can't take another shot through the heart like what happened last time. [H/T- Cultaholic]

Drew McIntyre won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 but ended up losing it in five minutes as CM Punk attacked him after the match, leading to a cash-in. The Best in the World is once again expected to play a part in the match.
