38-year veteran to reunite; Top champion quits his faction to join Roman Reigns? - 3 signs The Tribal Chief won't come to SmackDown alone

Former Universal Champion Roman Reigns made his comeback to WWE during The Bloodline Rules match featuring Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam. After a wild series of events, Reigns did what everyone expected and betrayed his former Enforcer, ensuring he took the loss.

Reigns is officially stepping into the babyface role as he gears up for his return on tonight's SmackDown. This is new ground for him, as he’s expected to get a hero's welcome, but he might not be flying solo.

Here are three signs that The Original Tribal Chief could have some company when he shows up on SmackDown.

#3. Jacob Fatu quits Bloodline 2.0 and joins Roman Reigns

Once Sikoa stepped up as the new head of The Bloodline, he welcomed Tama Tonga into the crew. Not stopping there, he also added Tonga Loa to the mix and brought in Jacob Fatu to serve as his enforcer.

Even though the current WWE Tag Team Champion seemed to embrace his position as The Enforcer, his body language suggested otherwise. Plus, at SummerSlam, he looked like he got hurt when he did a Frog Splash on Cody Rhodes through the announce table. However, that injury could be a ruse to dodge a showdown with Reigns. It could be revealed on SmackDown that he’s been working with Reigns as he quits Bloodline 2.0 to team up with the former Undisputed Universal Champion.

#2. 38-year veteran Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso return alongside Reigns

Fans are getting hyped for the returns of Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso on SmackDown. Even though Jimmy was sidelined pretty quickly, Paul Heyman went through a rollercoaster of emotions watching Solo Sikoa try to take over Roman Reigns' spot.

Tonight's show could see a reunion between Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns on the blue brand.

#1. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn join their Tribal Chief in an emotional reunion

In the latest episode of RAW, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn had a backstage moment where Jey was trying to lift Sami's spirits after his loss to Bron Breaker at SummerSlam.

This might be the first step for these two to reconnect with their old faction leader. They could come out to support their old friend as he prepares to confront The Bloodline 2.0. However, Reigns mustn’t just get a free pass for all the wrongs he’s committed during his time at the top of WWE.

Making things right with these two for his past actions is a crucial part of the upcoming Bloodline Civil War.
