2019 Women's Royal Rumble Match: Predicting The Final 4
The 2019 WWE Royal Rumble takes place this Sunday. It is a stacked card, but the two Royal Rumble matches on the WWE card are perhaps the most eagerly anticipated.
Winning a Royal Rumble match is a huge, huge deal. However, one doesn't need to necessarily win the match in order to be presented as a huge deal. Being one of the final four superstars in the ring is a great honour in itself. The final four consists of a combination of likely winners, biggest stars, and the iron-woman of the match.
Last year, the final four consisted of Sasha Banks, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, and eventual winner; The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka. This followed that formula; Banks was the iron-woman, the Bella Twins provided the star-power, and Asuka was considered the favourite to win the match.
Which women will consist of the final four this year?
Let's find out.
#4 Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair, 'The Nature Girl' is the daughter of the legendary, two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair. She is wrestling royalty. Her lineage also meant that expectations were sky high. Incredibly, she has exceeded them. She is one of the most well-rounded performers on the roster. She must be certainly be considered one of the most athletically gifted wrestlers on the roster, irrespective of gender.
Charlotte Flair is arguably the most decorated superstar to compete in this match. She is a 7-time WWE Women's Champion. All of her WrestleMania appearances have been in Women's Championship matches. She has won two of those three matches, successfully defending her RAW Women's Championship against Sasha Banks and Bayley, and her Smackdown Women's Championship against the then-undefeated Asuka. In the only WrestleMania match she lost, she was last eliminated in a fatal 4-way elimination match.
She has been the sole survivor in a Survivor Series elimination match. Along with Sasha Banks, she was the first woman to main event a WWE main roster pay-per-view. Indeed, she was successful on that occasion, winning the first-ever women's Hell in a Cell match.
History has shown us that Charlotte Flair wins big matches. She is one of the biggest stars on the roster.
Of course, she is going to be in the final four in her Royal Rumble debut.
