Over the past few weeks, Seth Rollins has essentially been performing as a heel Superstar despite being the face of RAW. However, he is still a face and WWE likely isn’t pushing for that so hard. Rollins is still one of the most prominent wrestlers on their roster and one wrong move could damper his momentum going forward.

We can agree that right now, Rollins doesn’t have the same type of fan support that he had during his quest for the Universal Championship earlier this year, but still, there are several key reasons why he shouldn’t turn heel just yet. Even though many in the WWE Universe want this to happen, this article is focused on why Seth Rollins shouldn’t turn heel. This might prove to be a debatable feature, but as always, let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

#4 He doesn’t have to

Why bother doing something when there is no need for it? Yes this is a controversial opinion but we’ll state it anyway: Seth Rollins doesn’t need to turn heel. The WWE Universe wants him to alter his character and do bad things, just as he used to do during his heel run 4 years ago.

However, Rollins doesn’t have to turn heel. He’s an established main event Superstar who’s also the face of RAW. Even though Rollins’ previous run as a heel was a major success in itself, there’s no need to replicate it yet.

His momentum has fallen but there are other ways to fix it than to turn him into a heel. What Seth Rollins needs right now is an interesting storyline which a heel turn doesn’t guarantee. Remember how last year Jon Moxley’s (Dean Ambrose) much-awaited heel turn disappointed the WWE fans despite the hype? This might end up happening with Rollins too.
