4 Biggest WWE botches of the week (June 22nd, 2019)
It's been a long week for WWE fans since the build-up to Stomping Grounds has finally come to an end and now the first ever version of the show will be presented live from Tacoma, Washington on Sunday night.
It was a week that lacked build to certain matches whilst others made little sense, there have been rumors that WWE is a mess backstage and it's leaking through into the product with Stomping Grounds failing to sell the usual amount of tickets ahead of time which has WWE worried.
WWE is not yet in crisis mode but is hoping that Stomping Ground delivers and grants them the clean sheet that they need to move forward from their recent ratings dramas. Some of the low points of the week include the botches that made their way onto WWE TV as well as WWE's technical team having a rough night.
#4 That 630
Ricochet became the Number one contender for the United States Championship this week on Raw when he was able to outlast Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman, The Miz and Cesaro in an Elimination Match.
After Strowman cleaned house, it came down to The Miz and Ricochet, before The One and Only delivered the 630 to pick up the win. Last week on Raw, he delivered a 630 that landed across Cesaro's legs and this week it looked as though it landed across his midsection and genuinely hurt.
It's thought that if these kinds of landing's continue then it won't be long before WWE take the 630 away from Ricochet and only allow him to use it as part of select matches, which would be a shame since his high-flying ability is the reason he's made it this far in WWE.
