4 bold predictions about four superstars after the latest episode of RAW (April 29, 2019)
With the April 29 episode of RAW, WWE has put a strong foot forward in shaping up the Money in the Bank card. The show may not have always been electric, but it was definitely sold. Most importantly, it set up matches and hinted at more possible matchups.
The company via Alexa Bliss announced the competitors for the men and women's ladder matches for the MITB briefcases. The dream match between AJ Styles and Seth Rollins became official. Joe lost yet again, and we saw another "Firefly Funhouse" segment.
With WWE truly moving ahead into a new era, leaving behind superstars of the past, RAW gave us a lot of hints about the future.
In this article, we make 5 bold predictions about the future of 4 top superstars after RAW.
#1 Drew McIntrye's time is now
Alexa Bliss announced Drew McIntyre as one of the four superstars who'd participate in the MITB Ladder Match from RAW. Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin, and "The One and Only" Ricochet are the three other participants.
While 4 men from SmackDown will also participate in the match, we strongly feel that McIntyre will be the next Mr. Money in the Bank.
McIntyre has been one of RAW's workhorses since 2018, performing in the upper mid-card or main event scene. He has looked impressive. Besides an emphatic loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, WWE has protected him.
McIntyre is WWE's 'next big thing', and there is no reason for anyone to think otherwise. McIntyre is everything Vince McMahon wants in a WWE Superstar, and more. Usually, MITB does great things for winners, and the rumors suggest that WWE has big plans for McIntyre.
McIntyre is Championship material, and WWE needs top heels on RAW to feud with Seth Rollins. He is the answer. Winning the MITB briefcase should be a start to a main event push for him.
