4 Brock Lesnar Dream Matches Which Weren't shown on TV or PPV
Brock Lesnar is one of the most popular professional wrestlers today. He is the current two-time Universal Champion, and he was the longest reigning champion in his first reign.
The Beast Incarnate made his main roster debut in 2002, right after Wrestlemania X8. He was billed as "The Next Big Thing" and was immediately given a monster push. Within 6 months of his main-roster arrival, he won the King of the Ring tournament and also became the youngest WWE Undisputed Champion at the age of 25.
Although Lesnar's first run with WWE was quite short and he left right after Wrestlemania XX, his 2-year stint on the main roster was quite an eventful one. He turned face and heel a couple of times and had a lot of interesting feuds and matches with the top Superstars of the company. He even became a 3-time WWE Champion and won his debut Royal Rumble match.
After Lesnar left WWE, he made an impact in Japanese Wrestling promotions and Universal Fighting Championship (MMA promotion). Lesnar became an even bigger star than he was when he left WWE. He eventually ended up returning to WWE in 2012.
This time however, he returned as a part-time performer. The Beast Incarnate has to show up around 20-30 times (or less) per year. Because of this, the WWE Universe hasn't seen Lesnar in a lot of matches in the last 6 years. He has only feuded with well-established Superstars like The Undertaker, Triple H, John Cena, Roman Reigns etc.
However, the WWE Universe has always wanted to see some dream matches featuring The Beast Incarnate squaring off against the up and coming Superstars or those Superstars who could give Lesnar a run for his money. Due to Lesnar's part-time status, we may never see those matches.
Surprisingly, some of these dream matches have already occurred. The reason why many of us haven't heard of them is because they weren't televised. These matches took place at Live Events (or House Shows). So, here are 4 Dream Matches involving Brock Lesnar which were given away on House Shows.
#4 Brock Lesnar vs. Rusev (2016)
Rusev is one of the most talented WWE Superstars on the main roster. Although he doesn't get the push he deserves, he never fails to impress in the ring.
When Rusev made his main roster debut in 2014, he was pushed as a monster heel. For nearly a year, he remained undefeated and defeated the likes of John Cena and Sheamus. After Cena defeated Rusev on 3 different occasions in 2015, Rusev's push was over. He became a mid-card talent.
However, it looked like things were once again starting to work out for the Bulgarian Brute when he received a significant push in 2016. This time however, his push was ended by Roman Reigns.
Due to Rusev's incredible run as a monster heel from 2014-2015 and again in 2016, the WWE Universe always wanted to see a match between The Beast Incarnate and The Bulgarian Brute.
Although the two never feuded, they had a match at a live event which took place in December 2016. However, this wasn't the dream match everyone was looking forward to as Lesnar demolished Rusev in under 3 minutes, and that was it!
