4 current WWE Superstars who could find success in Hollywood

WWE is one of the biggest entertainment companies in the world. For example, the promotion has one of the most subscribed YouTube channels worldwide and overshadows the likes of the NFL and the NBA.

Being a pro wrestler means mastering physicality and character work. In many ways, to be a good pro wrestler one must also be a good actor. Unfortunately, it doesn't always translate, but there have been some who have managed to move on from wrestling to acting and be highly successful.

The most obvious example of this is The Rock. The People's Champion is one of the most famous men on the planet thanks to his success in Hollywood. Both John Cena and Batista have also become tremendously successful on the silver screen.

Many wonder which performers in World Wrestling Entertainment today could be next to truly break out in Hollywood. This article will take a look at four current stars who could end up making it big on the silver screen.

Below are four current WWE Superstars who could find success in Hollywood.

#4. WWE NXT's Tony D'Angelo could be in a mafia movie

Tony D'Angelo is one of the most interesting characters on WWE television. He is a member of the NXT brand and is nicknamed The Don. His character is basically an Italian mafia boss.

The Don isn't alone on NXT, as he leads The Family, aka The D'Angelo Family. Joining the former WWE NXT Heritage Cup Champion are Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, and Adriana Rizzo.

D'Angelo plays his character extremely well. While his portrayal is certainly campy and over the top, a toned-down version could absolutely work in Hollywood, especially in any movies featuring the Italian mafia or "wise guys."

#3. Rhea Ripley has the look of a megastar

Rhea Ripley is one of the most successful female stars in WWE history. She is a multi-time World Champion and has headlined a massive stadium show just earlier this year. Beyond that, Rhea is extremely popular with fans.

The woman once known as The Eradicator of The Judgment Day is currently trying to win back her Women's World Champion again. Despite that, the WWE star could absolutely one day move on from wrestling to the silver screen.

Ripley has a striking appearance that Hollywood would love. With her incredible physique and impressive athleticism, The Nightmare could be an action movie megastar. She would fit well within a Marvel Studios film or even in an action blockbuster as the lead character.

#2. Tatum Paxley is a great character actor

The second and final NXT performer on this list is Tatum Paxley. Paxley has less experience than everybody else featured in this article, but she has stood out quickly thanks to her gothic character.

WWE fans love Tatum and have taken to her quickly thanks both to her character work and her in-ring ability. It is her acting that has really made fans stand up and take notice, as her dialogue and behavior in general is far more believable than that of almost anyone else around her.

As a result, Tatum eventually moving to acting would make a lot of sense. Her interactions with Lyra Valkyria and various others prove that Paxley could absolutely be fantastic in a movie. Perhaps she could take her creepy persona and channel it into a horror movie of some kind in the future.

#1. Omos could be a bodyguard or enforcer in movies

The final entry on this list is Omos. This WWE star is a true giant, standing at well over seven feet tall. There is nobody else in World Wrestling Entertainment today who comes close to his massive size. He even dwarfs the likes of Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar.

Unfortunately, Omos is rarely seen on WWE television. He has only been involved in two televised matches this year, both of which were massive Battle Royals. His last singles match on a broadcast program took place well over a year ago.

Despite not being used much by the Triple H-led regime, Omos has something that can't be taught: size and presence. Due to this, he could absolutely find roles in Hollywood. While there aren't many leading roles for a man of his size, Omos could find plenty of work as a bodyguard or somebody's enforcer. If they need an imposing human being, few compare to The Nigerian Giant.
