4 Dream WWE tag team opponents for The Usos after reuniting

After working together to cost The Bloodline the WWE Tag Team Championship, The Usos reunited for the first time in over a year on RAW. Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso had a tense heart-to-heart promo session in the ring to kick off the flagship show, agreeing to be a team again. However, The Yeet Master warned that this version of the iconic tag team would not be a supporting act to Roman Reigns.

Now that the twin brothers are back together, fans are excited to see them return to their old conquering ways. However, the tag team division's landscape has changed quite a bit since they last competed as a tandem. Several teams have burst onto the scene that could provide top-notch competition.

Following their reunion on WWE RAW, below are four dream tag team opponents for The Usos.

#4. DIY could provide tough competition to The Usos on WWE SmackDown

The Usos racked up an iconic catalog of feuds on the WWE main roster in their first 13-year run as a tag team. On their way to becoming the longest-reigning tag team champions, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso faced teams such as The New Day, The Dudley Boyz, the Street Profits, and more. However, one top tag team they did not share the ring with was DIY, who were running riot in NXT.

Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano's tag team run on the main roster has not overlapped with The Usos until now. Now that Jimmy and Jey are back together, it could finally be time for these two teams to battle it out. Fans could finally see one of the best tag teams of NXT's Black and Gold Era take on arguably the best main roster duo of the modern era.

Given the tension between Gargano and Ciampa after losing to The Motor City Machine Guns on SmackDown, the window for this dream match might be narrow.

#3. Nathan Frazer and Axiom could entice The Usos to visit NXT

Nathan Frazer and Axiom are the current NXT Tag Team Champions. Their time with the titles has seen them establish themselves as arguably the most exciting tag team in the entire company, bringing forth multiple classics with both NXT and main roster tag teams like The O.C., A-Town Down Under, and the Authors of Pain.

The Usos could follow the lead of their former rivals, The New Day, and visit the developmental brand in a bid to become Triple Crown Tag Team Champions. This would bring them face-to-face with Fraxiom, giving fans a cross-brand dream match for the ages. If Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso's latest run is short before they return to their singles runs, this rivalry should be high on the bucket list.

#2. The Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Usos is a dream match years in the making

While The Usos ruled the WWE tag team division for over a decade, The Motor City Machine Guns were running riot in TNA Wrestling, Ring of Honor (ROH), and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The two teams were dominant in their respective spaces, but fans never thought they would share a ring, making theirs an "impossible" dream match. However, you never say never in the pro-wrestling business.

With The Motor City Machine Guns now on SmackDown and already the WWE Tag Team Champions, a dream feud with The Usos is more possible than ever. Could Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso come after Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley after handling business with Solo Sikoa's Bloodline? It would be a historic battle more than a decade in the making, and a great treat for long-time fans of both teams.

#1. The Bloodline is on top of the potential opponent list for The Usos

When Solo Sikoa took over The Bloodline, his first act was to kick Jimmy Uso out of the faction and replace him with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. The self-proclaimed Tribal Chief even rubbed salt in the proverbial wound by declaring Tama his "Right Hand Man," a title formerly held by Jey Uso in Roman Reigns' leadership of The Bloodline.

It was immediately clear that if The Usos ever reunited, the Tongans would be at the top of their target list. This matchup seems inevitable, potentially happening at WrestleMania 41 with the WWE Tag Team Championship on the line. Given the Tongans' illustrious history as the Guerrillas of Destiny in NJPW, this will also be an epic dream match for long-term followers of both teams.
