4 female WWE stars apart from Rhea Ripley who could return at Money in the Bank
WWE's next premium live event will air later tonight across multiple platforms. The big show is Money in the Bank 2024, which will be held live at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Over 17,000 fans are expected to be in attendance.
The company has built up a lot of hype for the PLE, with many fans wondering if any big surprises will take place. This includes returns, with the likes of Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley expected back on television sooner rather than later.
Rhea, in particular, has a lot to do when she's back thanks to the ongoing Judgment Day saga now featuring Liv Morgan. Despite that, Ripley isn't the only female star who could find herself back at the Money in the Bank event.
This article will take a look at a handful of stars from the women's division who could potentially make their comeback at the big show tonight. This includes an injured performer and another who has been absent for quite some time.
Below are four female WWE stars apart from Rhea Ripley who could return at Money in the Bank.
#4. Charlotte Flair could make her return on a big stage
Charlotte Flair is one of the greatest female stars of all time. She's a 14-time world champion, a two-time NXT Women's Champion, and a former Women's Tag Team Champion. Flair has done it all.
The Queen hasn't competed in a WWE ring since the December 8th, 2023 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. She and Asuka were having a fantastic match, but a spot went wrong on the ropes and it caused Charlotte to get seriously injured, which required surgery.
While an ACL and MCL injury takes a long time to recover, Flair has been healing quickly, as is evident by her social media posts. This could mean that Charlotte may return soon, potentially as quickly as tonight. Even if she isn't 100% yet, she could appear in anticipation of getting cleared, with in-ring competition delayed for the next few weeks.
#3. Tamina has been absent for quite some time
Tamina is a veteran of the pro wrestling ring. She made her WWE debut alongside The Usos and has since gone on to some success, having held the 24/7 Championship and the Women's Tag Team Titles.
The 46-year-old hasn't had a match since the February 27th, 2023 edition of Main Event where she lost to Michin. There is no clear reason for her absence and Tamina's WWE status has never officially been confirmed.
Given that she remains on the roster page, a return could happen at any point, including at Money in the Bank. Tamina could shockingly appear during the six-man tag team bout featuring The Bloodline where she joins the stable by costing Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens a victory.
#2. Raquel Rodriguez's WWE return is eagerly anticipated
Raquel Rodriguez is one of the strongest female competitors in the WWE. That strength has led her to several titles, as she held the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles, NXT Women's Championship, and the Women's Tag Team Titles on the main roster.
The powerful superstar is currently away from television due to an unfortunate battle. She has been dealing with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Her last bout was on the February 26th edition of RAW where she defeated Chelsea Green in about a minute.
There is no clear indication as to when Raquel could return to the ring. Many fans hope it happens soon, though. If healthy, a comeback at Money in the Bank would delight the WWE Universe, especially if she's added as a late-game addition to the Women's Ladder Match.
#1. Alexa Bliss could be involved with The Wyatt Sicks
Alexa Bliss is another accomplished athlete. Despite never winning gold on NXT, she managed to hold the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles, RAW Women's Championship, and SmackDown Women's Championship while on the main roster.
Little Miss Bliss has been absent from WWE for around a year and a half now. Her last match was at the 2023 Royal Rumble premium live event where Alexa lost to Bianca Belair. Shortly thereafter, Alexa revealed she was pregnant.
Many fans expect Alexa to join The Wyatt Sicks when she returns to television and that could happen as soon as at Money in the Bank. If the group makes their presence felt, it could be while re-introducing the former RAW Women's Champion.
