4 Former World Champions WWE shouldn't mind losing to rival Promotions

With the rise of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), WWE has become cautious about holding on to their talents. However, due to the high number of options available outside WWE, Superstars are more than willing to walk out of the company. While most of these talents are less accomplished in WWE, there are few Superstars who once held one of the two World Championships at one point in their career.

In the past few months, there have been several reports of Superstars asking for their release. While some of them may have been granted, most of them haven't been yet. However, WWE's bigger concern right now are the big names who might consider leaving the company. AJ Styles for one hasn't signed a new contract as of yet. However, unlike Styles, there are few former world champions WWE can afford to lose.

#4 Bray Wyatt

Considering how Bray Wyatt has been booked in the past year, it is actually surprising that Wyatt was the WWE Champion heading into Wrestlemania 33. The former World Champion has had a tough time ever since being drafted back to Raw in 2017. Bray Wyatt was in fact last seen on television almost 7 months ago. It is unclear as to why Bray Wyatt is not being used on TV although he has made few appearances in the in-house shows lately.

However, Bray Wyatt's career in WWE seems to be going nowhere. Despite possessing excellent mic skills and having the ability to maintain a strong gimmick, the Eater of the Worlds has been rarely booked as a serious singles competitor. At this point, even the fans do not take Bray Wyatt as seriously as they once used to. Letting go of the New Face of Fear will probably be the best thing for both the parties.
