4 huge predictions for WWE in July 2019

With Heyman being the new executive director of Raw, expect things to change for the better
With Heyman being the new executive director of Raw, expect things to change for the better

While the month of June had its fair share of highs and lows, it was a month WWE would like to forget quickly. With degrading viewership and ratings, June was not an ideal month for WWE.

WWE hosted two pay-per-views this month - Super ShowDown (its third show in the Middle East) and Stomping Grounds. While Super ShowDown proved to be a huge success commercially, several botched matches and average performances made it a damp squib.

On the other side, WWE faced huge criticism for the recycled bookings for Stomping Grounds, and while it was not much of success from a commercial point of view, it received positive reviews from both fans as well as critics alike.

Given the recent state of things, WWE has named Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff as the new Executive Directors of Raw and SmackDown respectively. Thus, one could see a few major changes in WWE in the upcoming weeks.

Also, with a few superstars rumoured to return sooner than later, plus one of the highly anticipated pay-per-views of the year - Extreme Rules - scheduled for 14 July, this month of July promises to be an interesting affair.

So, without further ado, let's take a look at 4 huge predictions for WWE in July 2019.

#4 Rise in viewership

Given the recent state of things, WWE named Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff as the new Executive Director of Raw and SmackDown respectively. Thus, one could expect these two gentlemen to ring in some major changes on both the brands which could result in a rise of viewership, though a minimal one.

As a matter of fact, Heyman did stir up a few things this week on Raw. It is speculated that it was Heyman's idea to bring the NXT Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits, to Raw this week and a major push for the duo could be on the cards sooner than later.

Also, with Summerslam (one of WWE's big four pay-per-views) not too far away, expect a rise in the viewership in the upcoming weeks.
