4 instances when Brock Lesnar struggled on the mic
Brock Lesnar seems to be the most intimidating person in the WWE; a Beast with no remorse and he vents his anger on anything that he can get his hands on. Be it wrestlers, referees, commentators or even a Cadillac, Brock Lesnar doesn’t hold back his wrath in punishing and breaking his opponents.
His history of accomplishments in the NCAA, UFC and WWE prove that he is a future Hall of Famer with an unbelievable fighting skill set. That being said, Brock Lesnar may not look as intimidating when he has the mic in his hands.
During Lesnar’s previous stint in the WWE, he did the talking himself, literally. This wasn’t a great idea as the WWE Universe was not particularly impressed with his mic skills. There were instances when Lesnar looked emotional, unauthentic and frankly, boring.
Here we take a look at four instances when Brock showcased his horrible mic skills. Thankfully, Paul Heyman does the talking for him now. While we have fun at Brock’s expense momentarily, nothing takes away from the fact that he is one of the best wrestlers of all time.
1. Brock Lesnar pleads to Vince McMahon about a match with Goldberg
Brock Lesnar had many feuds during his first stint at the WWE. His feud with Eddie Guerrero, the Latino Heat, was one to remember. Brock and Eddie were engaged in a battle for the WWE title.
An intense battle turned in favour of Eddie when Goldberg, out of nowhere, speared Brock Lesnar. The vicious spear was enough to keep Brock Lesnar down for the pinfall.
In the video, Brock said that he couldn’t get over the incident and promised to show his wrath on Goldberg if given the opportunity. Brock falls on his knees and pleads with Vince McMahon for this opportunity. The request doesn’t look very authentic as we can’t imagine Brock on his knees when he wants something.
