4 non-WWE names who got over with fans after company association
The Triple H era of WWE has been a drastic change from when Vince McMahon led the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut. This is especially true when comparing the past few years of the promotion to what is happening today.
For example, the difference in the production is night and day compared to what it was under Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn. Additionally, morale seems to be better than ever. Even how the company drops talent is different as, instead of mass releases, they primarily allow the contracts to expire.
Perhaps the biggest change that has come under the Triple H regime is the willingness to work with other promotions. The company has worked with the likes of TNA Wrestling, Reality of Wrestling, NOAH, and Marigold, among others.
Some stars who don't work for World Wrestling Entertainment on a full-time basis have gotten over with the WWE Universe thanks to this affiliation. This article will look at four performers who have gotten over with fans of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT thanks to their newly forged relationship with The Sports Entertainment Titan.
#4. Jordynne Grace was a hit among WWE fans
Jordynne Grace is an incredibly talented and unbelievably jacked superstar who leaves fans in awe. While she's wrestled for numerous promotions, Grace is best known for her time with TNA Wrestling.
The Juggernaut has been briefly involved with both NXT and WWE's main roster. She first appeared in the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble Match. From there, Jordynne competed on NXT, defeating Stevie Turner in singles action and then losing to Roxanne Perez.
Almost immediately, fans welcomed Grace with open arms. Her debut in the Women's Royal Rumble got a ton of buzz, but her time in NXT was arguably even better received. Hopefully, her time with World Wrestling Entertainment and specifically the NXT brand isn't over.
#3. Trey Miguel & #2. Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz
The Rascalz is a faction that existed in TNA Wrestling and on the Indies. The three primary members of the group include WWE's Wes Lee, along with Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel. It is the latter two who have benefited the most from TNA's recent partnership with the Stamford-based company.
Zachary used to wrestle as one-half of MSK and went by the ring name of Nash Carter. However, he has been away from the company for many years. Meanwhile, this is Trey's first time working with WWE. Fans have strongly gotten behind both since they started showing up on television with Wes several weeks ago.
Things took a sudden turn on NXT last night, however. After MSK lost to Axiom and Nathan Frazer in the main event of the show, Wes Lee shockingly turned heel and attacked his former friends. This could have written Wentz and Miguel off of WWE television, but now it would probably lead to an exciting feud.
#1. Joe Hendry is probably the most over star in the industry today
Joe Hendry isn't just one of the most popular wrestlers on NXT, but he's one of the most popular performers in the world of professional wrestling. He spent years wrestling in Europe but has been a big name in TNA Wrestling recenty.
Like Jordynne and The Rascalz, Joe has appeared on WWE NXT as part of the newly forged relationship between the two promotions. Due to his online fame, Hendry made an immediate impact and fans have been going absolutely crazy for the Scottish star ever since. They are always singing his song, chanting his name, or otherwise showing support for him in some manner.
Joe has competed a handful of times on the NXT brand while still working for TNA Wrestling. This includes a Battle Royal appearance, a main event tag team match, and a bout with Joe Coffey which he recently won.
Interestingly, Joe might have the closest relationship with WWE on this list. He also appeared at a live event and has even been training at the Performance Center. Hendry has also made it known that he intends to stick around on NXT television for the foreseeable future. This is good news for everybody who believes in the Scottish star.
