It has been a big month for avid wrestling fans, as a new era in professional wrestling has arrived. AEW debuted on TV with their new weekly show Dynamite. SmackDown also made its debut on FOX and the Blue brand's new era is off to a tremendous start.

The Rock made his return to WWE for the first time since WrestleMania 32. 'The Brahma Bull' had an exciting segment with Becky Lynch and Baron Corbin, delivering his signature People's Elbow and Rock Bottom to King Corbin. Although 'The Great One' recently announced his retirement, his segment on the SmackDown FOX debut raised the possibility of one final farewell match. Wrestling is filled with Superstars who return to the ring after hanging up their boots, and the same could happen for The Rock.

Several gigantic names have returned to compete at the 'Showcase of the Immortals,' and the next WrestleMania is less than six months away. Here we discuss four possible opponents for The Rock, if he participates at WrestleMania 36.

#4. Randy Orton

Randy Orton recently swapped brands, getting drafted to RAW. It was the first time 'The Apex Predator' changed brands since the re-introduction of the brand split. After a decent run on SmackDown, the former WWE Champion should continue to do well on the Red brand.

Orton's last feud was with Kofi Kingston, competing for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam and Clash of Champions. Orton will be part of Crown Jewel, where will lead Team Ric Flair against Team Hulk Hogan.

Orton is one of the biggest names in WWE history, and could have an outstanding feud with The Rock. Both The Rock and Randy Orton are third generation Superstars, and a WrestleMania bout could allow them to prove their supremacy in the wrestling business. In fact, Orton called out 'The Great One' for a match at WrestleMania 36, after The Rock made an appearance on SmackDown's FOX debut.

'The Viper' and 'The Brahma Bull' share a total of twenty-three WWE Championships between them. Although the two Superstars had segments in the past, they never had a match in the squared circle. A match between Orton and The Rock would be a huge draw, and it could main event the 'Showcase of the Immortals.'
