4 reasons why Becky Lynch will return to WWE

Becky Lynch is one of the greatest female performers in WWE history. For the last six or so years, Becky has been one of the most popular names in pro wrestling, regardless of gender. She's a big deal.

Unfortunately, The Man hasn't been around in quite some time. After losing the Women's World Championship, Becky challenged Liv Morgan in a rematch on the May 27, 2024, edition of RAW. The two women clashed inside a steel cage.

The Steel Cage match was good, but it ended in controversy thanks to interference from Dominik Mysterio. Becky proceeded to leave the arena and hasn't returned since. In fact, her contract allegedly expired.

Some fans are concerned that The Man is done with wrestling or could even end up competing in another promotion. While anything is possible, both of those options are unlikely. Instead, there are many reasons to believe she will return to the sports entertainment juggernaut, and this article will look at several of them.

Below are four reasons why Becky Lynch will return to WWE.

#4. There are many stars left for her to work with and feuds to be had

One of the biggest reasons Becky Lynch is likely to return to WWE comes down to one key thing: there is a lot left for her to do. In terms of titles, there are only a few she's yet to hold, but when it comes to stories and feuds, there are plenty left for The Man.

For example, she could start a long-term tag team with Lyra Valkyria to have her friend and apprentice get the rub from Big Time Becks. She could also have a big-time singles match with IYO SKY, feud with Kiana James, battle Raquel Rodriguez, or take on The Unholy Union. All of those options are on RAW alone.

Perhaps even more enticing is the next generation arriving in the company. Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and DELTA are all reportedly coming to WWE. Additionally, the likes of Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, Kelani Jordan, and Tatum Paxley could have epic feuds with The Man. It can be assumed that she won't leave when there is so much left to do.

#3. Her husband works in WWE

Seth Rollins is a decorated performer who has been one of the top names in World Wrestling Entertainment for quite some time. He even co-headlined WrestleMania alongside The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes.

While The Visionary has many incredible accomplishments and achievements in his wrestling career, he would likely say the best two things to happen to him are Becky Lynch and their child. The Man and Seth Rollins have been together for many years now and have even worked together on-screen in WWE.

While Becky retiring or going to a different wrestling promotion wouldn't change their relationship, the appeal of being able to travel the world with your life partner is certainly enticing. Beyond that, if Becky is to stay in wrestling, she would likely prefer working with her husband in WWE than without him in AEW or some other promotion.

#2. Becky Lynch loves to mess with people on social media

Another sign that indicates Becky Lynch isn't going anywhere and a reason to believe that she will return to WWE comes down to a social media post. The Man seemingly teased that she was done wrestling, which is exactly why it should be clear that she wasn't.

This may seem confusing, but anybody who follows The Man on social media knows how she uses it to propel stories and keep people talking. When fans speculated she had issues with Triple H and WWE, she took advantage of it to get attention and mess with the audience. When she has major feuds, she uses social media to make them feel more real.

Becky making that social media post is almost certainly her way of messing with fans and creating interest. In turn, this would make her eventual return all the more surprising and exciting.

#1. She would have a much bigger send-off than a post on X

The final reason to believe that The Man will be returning to WWE and isn't done with wrestling has to do with her exit. Her last match saw The Man lose controversially to Liv Morgan and walk out dejected.

While it made for a good moment, there is no way that WWE would let that be the end of her story in the promotion. Even Edge, who fans believed was heading to AEW, had a strong send-off and a tribute show.

If The Man does decide to hang up her boots, she will get the star treatment. Triple H won't let Becky's epic career end with a whimper. Instead, she would go out with a bang, and everybody will know it.
