4 Reasons why Bron Breakker must unite with Paul Heyman on WWE SmackDown
A new episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown will be airing later tonight on the FOX Network. The show is set to take place live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. According to WrestleTix, well over 12,000 tickets have been sold for the big show.
Only a few matches have been announced for the blue brand tonight. Bayley will defend the Women's Championship against Naomi, plus LA Knight will clash with AJ Styles for a shot at Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. In addition to those two bouts, a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match will also take place.
It isn't yet confirmed, but another name that may appear on the show is Bron Breakker. The star recently left NXT to seemingly become a full-time member of the SmackDown roster.
It isn't clear what Bron may do on the show, but many believe he should unite with Paul Heyman. The Hall of Famer and Bron have been linked together on-screen a few times and SmackDown arguably should be when their bond is fully realized. This article will look at why the two should unite tonight.
Below are four reasons why Bron Breakker must unite with Paul Heyman on WWE SmackDown.
#4. Paul Heyman can spot the future of WWE
Paul Heyman has done a lot in his career. He was a photographer, manager, booker, owner, head writer, and commentator. However, the Hall of Famer is arguably at his best when he is managing talent and scouting the future.
Heyman has managed stalwarts such as Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns in WWE. He also helped mold some of the great talents from Extreme Championship Wrestling. Even WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin was a "Paul Heyman Guy."
When The Wiseman picks somebody as the future, he is almost always correct. For that reason, he and Breakker should unite. It would immediately give Bron credibility in the eyes of the fans thanks to Paul's near-spotless reputation over the past 30 years.
#3. Bron Breakker could be Paul's escape plan from the new version of The Bloodline
Paul Heyman has been united with The Bloodline for about four years now. During his time with the WWE faction, he has managed or assisted Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn.
Jey and Sami subsequently left the group. Another exit happened on Friday Night SmackDown. In a shocking move, Solo Sikoa ejected Jimmy from the stable via a brutal assault. Not only that, but Tama Tonga made his WWE debut by joining The Bloodline - all seemingly without Heyman or Reigns' knowledge. The Wiseman looked terrified of what was happening.
There is a very real chance that the Hall of Famer will choose to leave The Bloodline. If he does, Heyman needs an exit strategy. The best possible exit strategy is hitching his wagon to Bron Breakker. It would provide safety if The Bloodline came for him, while also giving him something to do moving forward. Guiding Bron's career is a great next move.
#2. Learning under The Bloodline would give Bron incredible knowledge
While Paul Heyman could leave The Bloodline to manage Bron Breakker, it isn't necessary. As we've seen with the past inclusion of Sami Zayn and even Tama Tonga, blood relation isn't necessarily a requirement to join the WWE faction.
As a result, Breakker could join the group without Heyman even needing to leave. This could be huge for his career, both because of the spotlight Breakker will receive, but also because of the minds he could learn from.
The former NXT Champion could learn under a veteran like Tama Tonga, a powerhouse like Solo Sikoa, a mastermind like Heyman, and the biggest star in the world in The Rock. If Roman Reigns remains a member of the group, Bron could learn from him too.
#1. Paul Heyman could try to take control back of the group with Bron involved
Paul Heyman is a genius in the world of professional wrestling. Behind the scenes, he is known for his creative work. In front of the camera, he is often seen as being an evil genius and a mastermind. Perhaps he's not an evil mastermind, but a mastermind nonetheless.
It isn't common for somebody to get one over him. When Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga shocked Heyman last week, he was caught off guard and had no game plan. In the week since, however, the WWE Hall of Famer has likely been plotting.
He could recruit Bron Breakker to The Bloodline but with a plan in mind. With Roman gone, Heyman seemingly has no power. If he can side with Breakker, however, it will elevate Heyman within The Bloodline once again. He could even potentially plan a takeover of some kind thanks to Bron's limitless speed, power, and athleticism.
