4 reasons Bronson Reed should remain a permanent member of The Bloodline following WWE Survivor Series WarGames
WWE Friday Night SmackDown was a monumental show. Not only did the blue brand's latest episode feature three major championship matches, but it also featured key moments building up to Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 later this month.
Most notably, the build towards The New Bloodline vs. The O.G. Bloodline continued. The New Bloodline is led by Solo Sikoa and features Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. The O.G. version is led by Roman Reigns and also includes The Usos and Sami Zayn.
While Roman Reigns and company have struggled to find someone who will team with them, Solo Sikoa has successfully found a fifth man in the form of Bronson Reed. The big man attacked The O.G. Bloodline on SmackDown, even hitting a devastating Tsunami on Roman.
While Reed being part of the group for one match is great, Triple H and company officials should keep him with the stable full-time. This article will look at a handful of reasons why that is the case.
Below are four reasons Bronson Reed should remain a permanent member of The Bloodline following WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
#4. He fit The Bloodline like a glove on SmackDown
Any star working with an established stable can be quite the gamble. Typically, top WWE factions become big thanks to their chemistry and the addition of a superstar who doesn't have that same chemistry can lead to awkwardness that might hurt the stable or the talent involved.
Thankfully, that isn't the case here. There was clearly immediate chemistry when Bronson Reed joined up with The New Bloodline to destroy Roman Reigns and his fellow Bloodline members. Fans immediately noticed the chemistry, and thankfully, WWE has reportedly noticed it as well.
Sources said that Triple H and World Wrestling Entertainment felt Bronson fit with the stable like a glove and for that reason alone, he should remain with them going forward. Lightning in a bottle is hard to capture, if you have it, you need to seize it while you can. It would be wise to take advantage of the clear chemistry here.
#3. Joining The Bloodline would put him in the main event scene of WWE
The Bloodline saga has been the top angle in WWE for years now. Roman Reigns' version of the stable was first properly launched in 2020 and has remained a key component of television ever since. The Bloodline is the biggest story and is constantly in the main event picture.
Bronson Reed's goals in WWE are some that many share. The Auszilla has stated that he wants to win a title and even headline massive premium live events. He wants to be a main eventer. If that's his goal, being aligned with The New Bloodline is a no-brainer.
Being with the group means he'll be in television and PLE main events. He could also branch out as a huge solo star in the future too. Regardless, matches with the likes of Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and representing The Bloodline against Cody Rhodes and others would make Reed a true blue main event talent.
#2. He and Jacob Fatu could be a dominant tag team
There is another route for Bronson Reed in The New Bloodline. When he attacked Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso on WWE SmackDown, it was Reed and Jacob Fatu who truly demolished the competition.
Jacob Fatu, also known as The Samoan Werewolf, is one of the best wrestlers in WWE and the world. He rose to prominence on the indie scene and specifically in MLW, but joined World Wrestling Entertainment earlier this year.
When Fatu and Reed destroyed everybody on SmackDown, the two had a clear aura as a unit. Bronson should remain with The New Bloodline so he can team up with Fatu full-time and take over the tag team scene on the blue brand. The pair would truly be unstoppable.
#1. This would give Bronson Reed fresh scenery
Bronson Reed first joined WWE through NXT. While on the black and gold brand, he won the NXT North American Championship. The big man was seemingly ready for a call-up to the main roster, but instead, Vince McMahon released him.
Triple H took over the creative direction of WWE in 2022. One of his first acts in charge was to bring back Big Bronson Reed. While there were some hiccups with his booking once Vince temporarily returned in 2023, he has been on a great path since then.
Still, Reed's entire time back has been on RAW. If he joins The New Bloodline, it will move Bronson to Friday Night SmackDown. This would be a great move, as new scenery would help keep the big man fresh and exciting after he has destroyed most stars on RAW.
