4 reasons why Jey Uso is turning down Jimmy Uso for a Bloodline reunion in WWE

"Main Event" Jey Uso's career is on an upward trajectory as a singles star. The popular RAW star won the Intercontinental Championship a few weeks ago, and a bright future lies ahead of him. However, he has to confront some demons from a troubled past.

Solo Sikoa's Bloodline outnumbers Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso, who recently returned to help his cousin at Bad Blood. Jimmy believes they need help, which led him to RAW this past week, where he tried to talk to his brother, Jey.

Jey was in no mood to listen to his twin brother, showing little interest in a Bloodline reunion. Here, we explore four potential reasons for Jey Uso's refusal of a reunion.

#4. Jey Uso has not forgotten the trauma he endured because of The Bloodline

The Bloodline saga provided quality television for more than three years, but it came at a heavy cost for the current Intercontinental Champion. Roman Reigns, soon after winning the Universal Championship in August 2020, coerced and brutalized Jey Uso till he acknowledged him as Tribal Chief.

The torment didn't end there, as Jey was frequently seen taking bullets for The Original Tribal Chief. Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, Edge, and many other of Reigns' rivals built momentum at the expense of The Bloodline's initial Right-Hand Man.

This was all before Jimmy Uso and Sami Zayn joined The Bloodline. Jey Uso initially had trouble accepting Zayn into the family, but he eventually accepted. However, when The Honorary Uce betrayed Reigns at Royal Rumble 2023, Jey was distraught.

The emotional despair continued into the summer as Jimmy also betrayed his twin brother at SummerSlam 2023 during Jey's Tribal Combat match against Reigns. Needless to say, the IC Champion endured a lot of physical, emotional, and psychological trauma because of The Bloodline.

The wounds may not have healed completely as Jey has not forgotten the pain he suffered. Hence, his decision to stay away from Jimmy and Reigns makes sense.

#3. Jey is content with his current run

Jey Uso finally reached the peak of his singles career when he defeated the formidable Bron Breakker to win the Intercontinental Championship. True to his character, he solidified himself as a fighting champion when he retained the belt against Xavier Woods.

Furthermore, Jey's entrance has caught on well with the fan base, and he is one of the most over stars on the RAW roster. The IC Champion also has an intriguing romantic angle lingering with Rhea Ripley that could prove fruitful and entertaining in the long run.

His current situation is starkly different from his plight within The Bloodline, where he was manipulated and tormented. With a lot going his way, Jey has little incentive to revisit the past because the present is so enjoyable and successful for him.

#2. The IC Champion had to prove himself on RAW

When Jey Uso jumped ship to RAW upon breaking free from The Bloodline drama, he had many rivals on the red brand. Only Cody Rhodes was willing to trust him. Drew McIntyre, The Judgment Day, and even Randy Orton were wary of the former Bloodline member.

The Bloodline had inflicted a lot of damage on the entire roster, and they hadn't made many friends in the locker room. Therefore, it was difficult for Jey to grow out of their shadow and create a new reputation. The tag team specialist had to fight off many challenges alone and prove himself to the RAW locker room.

With the approval he has received and the respect he has earned, it could be too late to turn his back and revert to his old roots.

#1. Roman Reigns has not apologized yet

In a heartwarming moment on SmackDown this past week, Roman Reigns acknowledged Jimmy Uso and led the fans to cheer for his cousin. It appears as if some trying times have reminded Reigns of his most trusted and genuine allies.

While Jimmy may have received his token of appreciation, Jey is yet to be acknowledged. The Original Tribal Chief turned down Jimmy's request to bring his twin brother for a Bloodline reunion.

Either way, the situation would improve considerably if The OTC apologized to Jey Uso, acknowledging the errors he made and mending fences with his cousin.
