4 reasons why Logan Paul decided to join WWE RAW on Netflix

Logan Paul announced during the WWE RAW on Netflix Kickoff show that he would be moving to the red brand. This move comes ahead of the Monday Night show's debut on the streaming platform on January 6, 2025. The show will air live from Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.

Paul has not been in action since losing the United States Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam earlier this year. Shinsuke Nakamura recently dethroned The Megastar at Survivor Series: WarGames. During the Kickoff show today, The Maverick made it known that he had his sights set on the World Heavyweight Championship.

Listed below are four reasons Logan Paul decided to move to WWE RAW.

#4. Logan Paul wants to be part of WWE's flagship show

Logan Paul has proven that he is a natural in the ring and has become a star on SmackDown. However, Paul may have grown tired of his time on the blue brand and was ready for a change.

Paul posed with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and Triple H following his major announcement today. The 29-year-old instantly became one of the faces of the red brand with his decision to leave SmackDown today.

#3. Paul may want his Prime sponsorship to be featured on Netflix

Logan Paul is one of the founders of Prime, which has reached a sponsorship deal with WWE. During the shows, a gigantic Prime kiosk is regularly seen ringside, and the company's logo is prominently displayed in the center of the canvas on premium live events.

The former United States Champion could view the move to Netflix as a way to get more viewers to potentially try his beverage. Prime has become quite popular, and Paul could potentially expand his business when RAW moves to the streaming platform next month.

#2. Paul believes he could capture the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther

Gunther is the reigning World Heavyweight Champion and successfully defended the title by defeating Finn Balor and Damian Priest at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14. Logan Paul did not appear to be too impressed, as he stated he was a future World Heavyweight Champion during the RAW on Netflix Kickoff show today at the company's headquarters.

The Ring General responded to Paul's claim and vowed to smack the smirk off of his face. Logan Paul failed to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship from Roman Reigns when he challenged The Original Tribal Chief at Crown Jewel 2022 but could have better luck against Gunther on RAW.

#1. The former champion may want to form a tag team with Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio is one of the most despised WWE Superstars on the roster. He betrayed Rhea Ripley earlier this year and is currently aligned with Women's World Champion Liv Morgan on RAW.

Logan Paul recently revealed that he pitched a tag team with Dirty Dom to Triple H. The two stars could potentially form a tag team when RAW moves to Netflix and go after The War Raiders' World Tag Team Championship.
