4 Reasons why The Wyatt Sicks won the Street Fight match on WWE RAW - Potential rivalry with major champions, future rematch?
The Wyatt Sicks battled American Made in an eight-person tag team match in the opening match on WWE RAW. The mysterious faction has been in a rivalry with Chad Gable for months on the red brand. Chad Gable was formerly the leader of Alpha Academy but turned heel while trying to capture the Intercontinental Championship from Sami Zayn.
Gable is now the leader of the American Made faction with The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile. Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and Erick Rowan defeated American Made in a six-man tag team match on the August 5 edition of WWE RAW. Uncle Howdy did not compete in the match but got involved in the end. He hit Julius Creed with a Sister Abigail, and Dexter Lumis connected with a Splash on Chad Gable for the pinfall victory.
Listed below are four reasons why The Wyatt Sicks won the Street Fight tonight on RAW.
#4. The Wyatt Sicks couldn't afford a loss on WWE RAW
The Wyatt Sicks have made an impact since their arrival on WWE RAW earlier this year. Following tonight's victory in the eight-person tag team match, the group is undefeated so far.
If American Made defeated The Wyatt Sicks, it would have made the faction less of a threat to the rest of the roster. However, the group was dominant in tonight's Street Fight, and they continue to prove that they are not to be messed with on Monday nights.
#3. The feud with American Made may be over
The Wyatt Sicks have gotten the better of Chad Gable multiple times now on RAW. The group attacked Gable during their debut, defeated American Made in a six-man tag team match last month, and Uncle Howdy defeated Gable in the main event of the August 26 episode of the red brand.
WWE may be moving on from the rivalry between American Made and The Wyatt Sicks on RAW after tonight's Street Fight. Chad Gable's faction has been soundly defeated in the feud so far, and there isn't much of a reason for it to continue moving forward.
#2. WWE could be planning a rematch between Chad Gable and Uncle Howdy
Uncle Howdy did not compete in the Street Fight tonight on WWE RAW but interfered in the match in the final moments. Chad Gable got distracted by Uncle Howdy's presence outside the ring, and Erick Rowan capitalized by slamming the former champion on top of the steel steps.
The reason as to why The Wyatt Sicks have been targeting Chad Gable is yet to be revealed. Gable could potentially demand another match against Uncle Howdy following another loss to his faction during tonight's RAW.
#1. The promotion may have bigger plans for the faction
The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh won the World Tag Team Championships from Awesome Truth (R-Truth and The Miz) on the June 24 edition of WWE RAW. Liv Morgan got involved in the match and helped her stablemates become champions.
Balor and McDonagh have not defended the titles in a televised match in the 77 days they have been champions. WWE could potentially be building up The Wyatt Sicks faction to prepare them for a rivalry with The Judgment Day. If the faction continues to rack up victories, they could demand a shot at the World Tag Team Championships in the weeks ahead.
Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas) has already been spotted having a meeting with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, and he may decide to approach him again in the weeks ahead and suggest a title match for his faction. If the group lost tonight's Street Fight match on RAW, they would likely not be in consideration for a title match against The Judgment Day.
