4 Reasons why Tiffany Stratton should cash in on Bayley following WWE SmackDown confrontation

Tiffany Stratton confronted WWE Women's Champion Bayley in the opening segment of tonight's episode of SmackDown. Stratton emerged victorious in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match this past Saturday night and earned herself a future title shot at a time of her choosing.

Nia Jax joined the party and reminded Bayley that she had earned a shot at the WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam as a result of winning the Queen of the Ring tournament. Stratton and Jax attempted to attack The Role Model, but Michin made the save with a kendo stick tonight on SmackDown.

Listed below are four reasons why Tiffany Stratton should cash in on Bayley following their confrontation tonight on SmackDown.

#4. Tiffany Stratton has already battled WWE Women's Champion Bayley

Tiffany Stratton has already proven to be a natural in the ring during her short time on the main roster. The former NXT Women's Champion competed in a Triple Threat match against Bayley and Naomi for the WWE Women's Championship at Backlash in France earlier this year but came up short.

Stratton could be itching to prove she can defeat Bayley, and tonight's confrontation may have added to her resentment toward the former leader of Damage CTRL. The SmackDown star could wait for the perfect time to cash in on Bayley as a way to get back at the veteran for her loss at Backlash.

#3. Tiffany Stratton was not pinned at WWE Backlash

SmackDown star Bayley was able to retain her WWE Women's Championship at Backlash by pinning Naomi, and Stratton was not a factor in the decision. Stratton could feel compelled to cash in on Bayley due to the finish at the Premium Live Event in May.

Bayley recently broke character to praise Tiffany Stratton for her confidence after only being on the main roster for a short period of time. Stratton's ego may have been bruised at Backlash, and she may be determined to take the title away from Bayley in the weeks ahead.

#2. Bayley tried to poke holes in her friendship with Nia Jax

Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton are friends in real life and are regularly seen together on social media. However, Bayley noted that Stratton could presumably cash in on The Irresistible Force if she captures the WWE Women's Championship and Jax got upset tonight on SmackDown.

Stratton could see what happens at SummerSlam and cash in on Bayley if she defeats Jax at the Premium Live Event in Ohio next month. The 25-year-old could then ask Jax to be her enforcer as champion to ensure a lengthy title reign.

#1. Bayley will likely be in a weakened state at SummerSlam

Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax beat Bayley down tonight on SmackDown. Jax defeated Michin in a singles match while Stratton was ringside. The two stars attempted to beat Michin down after the match, but the champion made the save. Jax and Stratton then attacked Bayley and left her lying in the ring.

Stratton teased a cash-in, but Jax seemingly prevented it. If Bayley is able to defeat Jax at SummerSlam and retain the title, it will likely take a lot out of her. Stratton could cash in following her title defense at WWE SummerSlam on August 3 or whenever she sees the 35-year-old in a weakened state moving forward.
