4 reasons why Kevin Owens should become WWE Champion at Fastlane
Vince McMahon stunned the WWE Universe on SmackDown Live last night after he replaced Kofi Kingston with a returning Kevin Owens in the WWE Championship match at Fastlane. No one saw this coming as a lot of members of the WWE Universe thought Owens might return after WrestleMania 35 or may compete for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35.
But, here we are. Kevin Owens has returned and not only has he returned, but he has also pinned the WWE Champion the new Daniel Bryan on SmackDown Live. It seems like we will get a good WWE Fastlane show (a PPV which has always disappointed the fans) this year.
The match between Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan will be the most unpredictable match of the night and it should be Owens who should win the WWE Championship at Fastlane.
Here are 4 reasons the Prizefighter should capture the WWE Championship on 10th March.
#4 To make up for his 2018 burial
Before Kevin Owens got sidelined because of injury, he had a feud with the Monster Amongst Men, Braun Strowman on RAW. The Monster dismantled Owens in their matches. The only pay-per-view match which Owens won was at Extreme Rules where Braun Strowman threw him off the steel cage. Since Owens escaped the cage first, he won the match.
Apart from that, there was not even a victory to Owens’ name against Braun, a feud which ended with Mr Monster in the Bank squashing Kevin at SummerSlam 2018.
It was the worst feud of Kevin Owens’ career and to make his on-screen character as relevant as it was earlier; he needs a big push. Winning the WWE Champion at Fastlane could just be the thing that Owens’ career needs right now as this victory would skyrocket him to the top of the chain on SmackDown Live.
