4 shockers WWE could be planning on Smackdown Live this week (19 March 2019)
Fastlane was an impressive show last week, and it had some top-notch bouts. Since WrestleMania is less than one month away, the storylines for the biggest pay-per-view of the year are developing gradually. With three weeks left for the Show of Shows in New Jersey, the last three RAW and Smackdown episodes are anticipated to be mind-boggling.
The last Smackdown Live episode was undeniably one of the best episodes in recent memory. WWE is leaving no stone unturned to provide an excellent match card for the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Shane McMahon announced his match with former tag team partner The Miz in New Jersey, while AJ Styles and Randy Orton had an intense segment last week and they will collide at the Showcase of Immortals.
However, the appalling moment of the last week was when Vince McMahon stated that Kofi Kingston needs to pin five other WWE superstars in a Gauntlet match to get a title shot at WrestleMania 35.
Following the imposing show last week, Vince McMahon's billion dollar company will be aiming to continue the good run. Smackdown Live is set to take place at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis this week, and it is expected to be a great show.
WWE already announced that the Miz will respond to Shane McMahon's challenge on Smackdown Live while Kofi Kingston is set to fight in a Gauntlet match which is likely to be the main event of the night.
Here we discuss four shockers that could happen on Smackdown Live this week (19 March 2019).
#4 Boss N Hug Connection might appear on Smackdown Live
The first ever Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley are enjoying a fruitful run. The Boss N Hug Connection assured they would defend the twin belts in any brand. Though the two women are part of the red brand, they appeared on NXT, and they could show up on Smackdown Live next week.
Sasha and Bayley defended the Women's Tag Team Titles at Fastlane where they defeated the team of Nia Jax and Tamina. In fact, they also had a brawl backstage on RAW, but Nia and Tamina are not likely to get a rematch at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
With the new team of Natalya and Beth Phoenix, they are in line to be the next challengers. But the IIconics are already an established tag team, and they have been together from NXT. The IIconics called out Sasha and Bayley on Smackdown Live last week. Hence, Boss N Hug Connection might answer them by appearing on Smackdown Live
