4 Shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend - Former AEW star interviewed, massive debut on past SmackDown

Things remain slow on the WWE Network and Peacock front. While weekends that feature huge premium live events are typically busier than the new normal, the content added each week is quite limited in comparison to years past.

Despite less programming being made readily available, there have been new shows added to the archives throughout the week. Monday featured a new edition of RAW Talk, with Sonya Deville's new stable interviewed. Meanwhile, a week-old episode of NXT was added to the archives on Tuesday.

Wednesday was once a fairly busy day, but WWE's The Bump has been gone for a few months now and there is no clear indication as to when it may return. Instead, just a one-month-old episode of Monday Night RAW arrived on-demand. Lastly, Thursday saw a new edition of This Week In WWE, highlighting the major stories throughout the prior seven days.

As for the coming few days, four new shows are set to arrive on-demand. All four are full-length programs and some feature brand-new matches and interviews, while others instead have already aired on other platforms recently. Still, the upcoming content is certainly interesting.

Below are four shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend.

#4. The SmackDown LowDown will air

The SmackDown LowDown will be back with a brand-new episode this weekend. The next installment of the popular weekend series will air on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at around 10 AM EST on both WWE Network and Peacock.

The series, for those unaware, features Megan Morant and Scott Stanford breaking down the action from Friday Night SmackDown the prior evening. In addition to their analysis of the show, three interviews from the arena are spliced into the program.

The full episode from last week can be seen any time on-demand, but the interviews from the show can be seen in the video above. Blair Davenport was first to chat, followed by former AEW star Andrade. Lastly, Legado Del Fantasma's Santos Escobar, Elektra Lopez, Berto, and Angel were interviewed.

#3. WWE Main Event & #2. SmackDown, two recent shows will be added on-demand

Two programs that recently aired on other platforms are set to arrive on WWE Network and Peacock this weekend. This includes an edition of Main Event, which first airs on Hulu, and Friday Night SmackDown, which is first shown live on the FOX network.

WWE Main Event from July 4, 2024, will be added on-demand on Saturday, July 20, 2024. The closing bout of Main Event featured the Latino World Order's Dragon Lee and Joaquin Wilde clashing with the Creed Brothers. Additionally, Pete Dunne took on Akira Tozawa.

Friday Night SmackDown from June 21, 2024, will arrive in the archives on Sunday, July 21, 2024. This was a huge episode live from the blue brand that featured the massive debut of Jacob Fatu. Solo Sikoa tricked Cody Rhodes in and The Samoan Werewolf stunningly dominated The American Nightmare.

#1. NXT Level Up will stream

NXT Level Up is the b-show to the white and gold brand and a new edition is set to stream on both WWE Network and Peacock later tonight on Friday, July 19. The show will air at 10 PM EST immediately following SmackDown on FOX.

As is the norm, the show will not be available on-demand immediately after airing for Peacock subscribers. Instead, there is a two-week delay, so Peacock subscribers must tune in as it airs live or else wait for two weeks to check the episode out.

The main event of NXT Level Up will see NXT regular Eddy Thorpe in singles competition. Thorpe will be going one-on-one with Shiloh Hill in what should be a thrilling bout.

Two other matches are booked for the show. Newcomer Lainey Reid will take on Adriana Rizzo of The Family in one bout. In the other match, Jakara Jackson of The Meta-Four will take on Kendal Grey in singles action.
