4 shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend - Heartwarming reunion on recent SmackDown, Solo Sikoa warns Roman Reigns
More programming has been arriving on WWE Network and Peacock as the Sports Entertainment juggernaut gears up for massive changes. The Network, as fans know it, will change forever when the Netflix deal kicks in beginning in January.
It still isn't clear how much content will carry over to Netflix, but new shows are still arriving on-demand nearly every day. For example, an hour-long episode of RAW Talk was added to the archives on Monday night.
Wednesday also featured a month-old edition of Monday Night RAW being uploaded to the streaming platform. As a reminder, this was a two-hour show, which will continue to be the trend until January. Lastly, This Week In WWE was added on-demand on Thursday.
The content isn't slowing down this weekend, as four full-length programs will either be added to the on-demand archives or streamed live. This includes new in-ring action, fresh interviews, and shows that aired on other services and channels first.
Below are four shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend.
#4. The SmackDown LowDown will air on Friday
The SmackDown LowDown will once again be airing on the WWE Network and Peacock. The popular series will begin streaming at 10 PM EST, immediately following SmackDown on USA Network.
The series sees hosts Megan Morant and Scott Stanford break down the action from Friday Night SmackDown. In addition to their analysis and clips from the show, select interviews are sprinkled throughout featuring stars of the blue brand.
Last week's episode of The SmackDown LowDown can be seen any time on-demand. The three interviews on the program are highlighted in the video above. Blair Davenport was first to chat, followed by the trio of Nia Jax, Candice LeRae, and Tiffany Stratton.
The final interview saw The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed appear. Solo warned Roman Reigns and his OG Bloodline, while further confirming that Big Bronson will be part of his team at Survivor Series: WarGames.
#3. WWE Main Event & #2. Friday Night SmackDown, two recent shows will be added to the archives
Two shows that recently aired elsewhere are being added to the WWE Network and Peacock archives this weekend. This includes Main Event, which used to air on Hulu and now airs internationally, plus Friday Night SmackDown, which was first shown on the USA Network.
WWE Main Event from November 7th, 2024 will be added on-demand on Saturday, November 23rd. This edition of Main Event features Pete Dunne clashing with Akira Tozawa and R-Truth battling Ludwig Kaiser.
Friday Night SmackDown from October 25th, 2024 will be made available on Sunday, November 24th. The show featured Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso reuniting and hugging one another in the middle of the ring, plus The Motor City Machine Guns challenged for Tag Team Gold.
#1. NXT Level Up will stream
NXT Level Up will be streaming on WWE Network and Peacock on Friday, November 22nd. The show used to air at 10 PM EST, but it now airs around 10:30 PM following The SmackDown LowDown.
As a reminder, Peacock subscribers can watch NXT Level Up as it airs live. Level Up isn't added to the on-demand archives immediately and instead, there is a two-week delay.
Three big-time matches have been announced for the NXT b-show this week. The main event will see NXT Level Up mainstay Dante Chen and he'll take on relative newcomer and NIL athlete Shiloh Hill.
Joe Coffey of Gallus is set to take on Harlem Lewis in singles competition as well. Lastly, Lainey Reid, who has been impressing many who watch the program, will battle Olympian Tyra Mae Steele.
