4 shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend - Legend interrupts interview, big title matches on past SmackDown

WWE Network will soon be undergoing major changes. Programming is set to move to Netflix in the new year for international subscribers. This will effectively sunset the platform and Netflix and Peacock will become the primary carriers of new and old content.

For now, though, uploads remain arriving on both standard platforms with Netflix not in the conversation until the new year. For example, RAW Talk featuring the Pure Fusion Collective was added on-demand on Monday. Tuesday, we also saw a new upload in the form of a week-old episode of NXT.

Some content arrived mid-week too. A month-old edition of Monday Night RAW, which first aired in August, was added to the archives on Wednesday. Lastly, a new edition of This Week In WWE streamed on Thursday, highlighting the major moments of the week.

Four new uploads will be made available on both platforms over the coming days. These are all full-length, typically ranging from around half an hour in length to almost two hours. This includes new in-ring action and interviews, plus other programs that recently aired elsewhere.

Below are four shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend.

#4. SmackDown LowDown will air

SmackDown LowDown will be back with a new episode on WWE Network and Peacock. As a reminder, the popular show has changed the time and day it airs. Instead of being added on-demand on Saturday mornings, the show streams immediately following SmackDown on USA Network at 10 PM EST.

Last week was the start of the series airing on Friday nights, but the concept of the program remained the same. Typically, Megan Morant and Scott Stanford break down the action from SmackDown earlier in the night with interviews from the arena spliced in throughout the show.

The interviews from last week's show can be seen in the video above. Chelsea Green was first to chat, but she was interrupted by the legendary Vickie Guerrero and Nick Aldis. From there, LA Knight spoke. Lastly, the duo of Bayley and Naomi were interviewed.

#3. WWE Main Event & #2. Friday Night SmackDown, two recent shows will become available

Two shows that recently aired on other platforms will be arriving on WWE Network and Peacock over the course of the weekend. This includes Friday Night SmackDown, which aired on the FOX Network, and Main Event, which streams on Hulu. After a month's wait for the blue brand and a two-week delay for Main Event, both will be available soon.

WWE Main Event from September 5, 2024, will be added to the archives on Saturday, September 21. The main event of the show saw Chase U's Riley Osborne take on Malik Blade. The other bout featured Dante Chen vs. Skylor Clinton, later renamed Niko Vance.

Friday Night SmackDown from August 23, 2024, will be made available on Sunday, September 22. This show was primarily based around two title matches. LA Knight put his United States Championship on the line against Santos Escobar in one bout. Meanwhile, The Bloodline defended their WWE Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits.

#1. NXT Level Up will stream

NXT Level Up will stream once again on WWE Network and Peacock this weekend. Due to the change in when The SmackDown LowDown airs, Level Up now airs at around 10:40 PM, immediately following the blue brand's recap and analysis show on Friday, September 20.

As a reminder, the NXT b-show does not immediately arrive on-demand on Peacock. This is because of a Hulu contract that requires the show to arrive around two weeks after first airing.

Three matches have been confirmed for NXT Level Up this week. The main event of the program will see Gallus member Mark Coffey go one-on-one with the impressive newcomer Shiloh Hill.

The other two bouts feature NXT's women's division. In one match, NXT Level Up regular Lainey Reid will take on the popular Lash Legend. The other bout will see the debut of Kali Armstrong as she takes on Brinley Reece in a singles competition.
