4 shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend - Popular star attacked during interview, Street Fight on past SmackDown

The race to the end of the WWE Network is on. The popular streaming service will likely be discontinued in a few months when Netflix takes over the international distribution of the program. Meanwhile, Peacock will still have the rights in the United States.

In the meantime, new programs are still being added to the archives that fans can check out at any time. For example, an episode of RAW Talk aired following the red brand's latest installment this past Monday. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, a week-old episode of NXT was made available on-demand.

New and previously unavailable content arrived throughout the rest of the week too. Wednesday featured a month-old edition of Monday Night RAW and Thursday saw a brand new episode of This Week In WWE.

Four full-length programs will be added to the archives of both platforms over the coming days. These new shows include two that have aired on other platforms over the past month, a brand new show with fresh in-ring action, and more.

Below are four shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend.

#4. The SmackDown LowDown will air

A new episode of The SmackDown LowDown will be airing on WWE Network and Peacock. As a reminder, the series no longer streams on Saturday mornings and instead first airs immediately following SmackDown on the USA Network at around 10 PM EST.

For those unaware, the series sees Megan Morant and Scott Stanford analyze and break down the action from that week's episode of SmackDown. This includes footage from the show and select exclusive interviews spliced in throughout the program.

Last week's edition of the series featured three interviews and an interesting angle, all of which can be seen in the video above. Carmelo Hayes and Giovanni Vinci were the first and last to be interviewed on the program.

Perhaps the most interesting bit came during an interview with Michin. She discussed her upcoming Dumpster Match with Chelsea Green when she was smashed with a trash can by Piper Niven. There is little doubt that Michin will want revenge.

#3. WWE Main Event & #2. Friday Night SmackDown, two recent shows will be made available on-demand

As has become the norm, two shows that recently aired on other platforms will soon be arriving on-demand to both WWE Network and Peacock. SmackDown, which first aired on FOX, and Main Event, which first streamed on Hulu, are both scheduled for this weekend.

It should be noted that SmackDown has moved to the USA Network and WWE's deal with Hulu has seemingly expired. What that means for the future of both programs as to when fans can expect the content remains to be seen.

WWE Main Event from September 12, 2024, will be made available on-demand on Saturday, September 28. This show opened up with NXT action as Dante Chen took on Uriah Connors. The main event of Main Event featured The Alpha Academy's Otis and Akira Tozawa taking on Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, OTM.

Friday Night SmackDown from August 30, 2024, will arrive on Sunday, September 29. This edition of the blue brand was headlined by a Street Fight with a world title on the line. Michin battled Nia Jax and nearly had her beat if not for chaos with Tiffany Stratton and the returning Bayley.

#1. NXT Level Up will stream

A new episode of NXT Level Up is set to stream on WWE Network and Peacock. The popular NXT b-show will be streaming immediately following The SmackDown LowDown, which in and of itself streams after SmackDown on Friday, September 27. Level Up will likely begin at around 10:30 PM EST.

Three interesting matches have been booked for NXT Level Up this week, including a very fun main event. The last bout of the night will see NXT regular Sol Ruca go one-on-one with a friend and former partner of hers, Dani Palmer. Palmer recently returned from a serious hip injury.

The other two bouts on the card feature the men's division. Relative newcomer Jasper Troy will go one-on-one with The Family's Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo in one bout. Additionally, Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe will take on Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon in tag team action.
