4 shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend - Roman Reigns destroyed on past SmackDown, popular show changing nightsÂ
WWE Network and Peacock continue to offer new shows that subscribers of either platform can enjoy. Typically, every single day features at least one brand-new upload of a full-length program for fans to check out.
For example, Monday saw the addition of a new RAW Talk episode, which broke down the action from that night's edition of the red brand. Additionally, a week-old episode of NXT was made available for fans to check out any time on-demand on Tuesday.
The content continued coming in as the week progressed. Wednesday saw an upload of a three-hour edition of Monday Night RAW from August. Lastly, a brand new edition of This Week In WWE was added to the archives on Thursday.
While this weekend won't be too busy, there will be four new full-length programs set to arrive on demand. Notably, one weekly show is changing days and another is changing timeslots.
Below are four shows coming to WWE Network and Peacock this weekend.
#4. The SmackDown LowDown will return on a new night
The SmackDown LowDown has long been one of the most consistent and entertaining shows on WWE Network and Peacock. The program features two hosts, typically Megan Morant and Scott Stanford, and they break down the action of Friday Night SmackDown every Saturday.
Times are changing, however. The SmackDown LowDown is moving days and will now stream on Friday night immediately following SmackDown on USA Network. This puts it on an even playing field with RAW Talk, as that program airs just after RAW. This move does change up another part of the schedule, however, that'll be covered further below on this list.
Last week's edition of The SmackDown LowDown can be seen on-demand at any time, but the interview portion is added in the video above. Bayley was first to chat, followed by the entirety of The Bloodline. Lastly, Cody Rhodes addressed his upcoming match with Solo Sikoa.
#3. WWE Main Event & #2. Friday Night SmackDown, two shows that recently aired will become available
Two shows that recently aired on other platforms will soon be arriving on-demand. Friday Night SmackDown initially airs on the FOX Network each week, although that changes tonight, and it doesn't arrive on-demand for 30 days. Meanwhile, Main Event has a two-week delay due to their deal with Hulu.
WWE Main Event from August 29th, 2024 is set to arrive on-demand on Saturday, September 14th. The opening bout of the night saw RAW's Lyra Valkyria take on NXT's Izzi Dame. Additionally, The Final Testament's Authors of Pain took on The Alpha Academy in the main event of Main Event.
Friday Night SmackDown from August 16th, 2024 will be added to the archives on Sunday, September 15th. This edition of the blue brand saw The Bloodline absolutely destroy Roman Reigns in what was a shocking moment. Additionally, Carmelo and Andrade put on a banger.
#1. NXT Level Up will stream
NXT Level Up, which features up-and-coming stars from the NXT brand in action, will be airing again this Friday, but the show will not be in the timeslot fans have grown to remember.
Instead of airing on WWE Network and Peacock at 10 PM EST immediately following SmackDown, it will air at 10:30 PM following The SmackDown LowDown. As a reminder, the show is not made available on-demand for Peacock subscribers after airing on the live feed for up to two weeks, so make sure to catch it as it first airs.
Three big-time matches have been confirmed for NXT Level Up this week. The main event of the developmental program will see Luca Crusifino of The D'Angelo Family, accompanied by Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Adriana Rizzo take on newcomer Niko Vance.
Two other matches are set for the show, with arguably the most interesting being Olympic gold medalist Tyra Mae Steele taking on Kendal Grey. Additionally, Cutler James and Shiloh Hill will take on Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors.
