4 signs Tiffany Stratton will win the 2024 WWE Queen of the Ring Tournament
The 2024 WWE King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event is rapidly approaching. The event will be the Stamford-based company's first since Backlash France and second since the epic WrestleMania XL two-night extravaganza.
This will mark the second Queen of the Ring tournament according to the Stamford-based company's record books, although the first was called the Queen's Crown Tournament. Some of the best female wrestlers in the world have been in action with the hopes of winning it all.
Tiffany Stratton is involved in the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament and hopes to advance to the semi-finals. She will be going one-on-one with Bianca Belair during the upcoming episode of SmackDown. If she wins, Tiffany will clash with the winner of Jade Cargill vs. Nia Jax the following week.
This article will take a look at a handful of different signs that potentially point to The Buff Barbie winning this prestigious tournament. While nothing is confirmed as of yet, the signs may be enough to infer who the winner could be.
Below are four signs Tiffany Stratton will win the 2024 WWE Queen of the Ring Tournament.
#4. Tiffany Stratton is extremely popular
The first sign that Tiffany Stratton could be the one who wins the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament has nothing to do with booking itself. Instead, it has to do with the fan response to the former NXT Women's Champion.
While fans in the United States of America certainly enjoy Tiffany's performance or booing her, international crowds give her a tremendous ovation. Elimination Chamber: Perth saw Tiffany cheered over numerous top stars and she was also very beloved at Backlash France.
WWE may decide to have her win the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament for this very reason. If she is extremely over in Saudi Arabia like she is in other markets, it would make for a big moment. Additionally, if a star is over, they deserve a big push. Tiffany is certainly over.
#3. WWE may have Tiffany and Lyra Valkyria run back their NXT classic
WWE NXT held its Battleground event on May 28, 2023. The show was held live at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. Around 3,500 fans were in attendance for the standalone NXT event.
The show was a quality one with Dijak vs. Ilja Dragunov delivering an incredible match. However, those two were not alone in offering something special. Tiffany Stratton and Lyra Valkyria went at it for the vacant NXT Women's Championship.
Given how good Lyra Valkyria vs. Tiffany was before, WWE could very well be setting it up for the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. If that does happen and the Stamford-based company is indeed building towards it, Tiffany will certainly win as she is more established. This being the potential direction bodes well for Stratton's potential victory.
#2. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair already hold titles
The SmackDown side of the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament features four female stars left. These include Tiffany Stratton herself, Nia Jax, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair. While any of the four are potential tournament winners, Nia does not typically make it in these kinds of settings, so her winning can be discounted.
That leaves three options left for WWE SmackDown, but two out of the three may be unrealistic picks to win. Neither Jade Cargill nor Bianca Belair should win this prestigious tournament as the two are currently rocking gold anyway.
It would not make sense for the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions to be pushed to a singles match at the premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This means Stratton is almost certainly heading to the finals, if not winning the entire thing. The current champions winning would just be illogical.
#1. The Bayley-Tiffany feud surely is not over yet
The current WWE Women's Champion is Bayley. The Role Model won the prized title by defeating IYO SKY at WrestleMania XL. This came months after she won the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble Match and was later kicked out of Damage CTRL.
Since then, Bayley and Tiffany Stratton have had their fair share of issues. They have bickered in interviews and even competed in a Triple Threat Match at Backlash France. Bayley won that bout, but she did so by pinning Naomi. Tiffany lost, but not by being pinned or submitted.
Given that Tiffany was not pinned, the storyline between The Buff Barbie and The Role Model is likely not over. This points to Stratton winning the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament, as the winner will almost certainly be pushed to a title opportunity. This could be how the Stamford-based promotion brings the two back in a storyline for a match, perhaps at Clash at the Castle 2024 Premium Live Event in Glasgow, Scotland.
