4 stars who can stop Drew McIntyre from reaching Roman Reigns
WWE fans will likely see Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns get into another bitter rivalry in 2025. However, there are a few stars in the back who can stop that from happening.
The Scottish Warrior returned to RAW after Survivor Series: WarGames to attack Jey Uso and Sami Zayn on the show. He faced Zayn in a singles match at Saturday Night's Main Event and pinned him after hitting the Claymore Kick.
After the match, Drew McIntyre made it clear that he would take down the remaining four stars soon, possibly pointing at the original member of The Bloodline. That would see him face Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and possibly Solo Sikoa before finally coming across Roman Reigns.
That match could be stopped if a top star gets in the way and defeats him to end his run. Check out the four stars who could stop Drew McIntyre from potentially reaching his final target, Roman Reigns.
#4. Jey Uso could return on WWE RAW
It looks like WWE doesn’t want to waste much time in building Drew McIntyre’s rivalry with Roman Reigns’ OG Bloodline. The Scottish Warrior has already attacked The Usos separately on RAW and SmackDown.
After defeating Sami Zayn on Saturday Night’s Main Event, McIntyre could target Jey Uso to the fullest. The two men could get into a rivalry leading to a match soon.
‘Main Event’ Jey Uso has become a force to reckon on RAW, and he could defeat The Scottish Warrior to end his path to Roman Reigns early. A win against McIntyre would boost Jey on the roster while sending the former spiraling into another rivalry.
#3. Zilla Fatu could make his debut soon
Rumor mills have been churning regarding Zilla Fatu’s potential WWE debut. The young Samoan star could make his way to the Stamford-based wrestling promotion soon.
Zilla hasn’t been part of The Bloodline’s drama. However, he could come in to prove himself and possibly do some dirty work for Roman Reigns or Solo Sikoa.
Both men will be on Drew McIntyre’s radar, and they could use a debuting Zilla Fatu to target The Scottish Warrior and take him down in his first rivalry. Triple H could strap a rocket to Zilla’s back and have him take down the former World Heavyweight Champion to prove himself early in his career.
A loss to Zilla Fatu could end Drew McIntyre’s run against the original Bloodline. It could also possibly turn him babyface and have him go after Gunther’s World Heavyweight Title heading into WrestleMania 41.
#2. Jacob Fatu could defeat Drew McIntyre to prove himself
Another member of the Anoa’i family who could get involved in the rivalry is Jacob Fatu. He is another star who wasn’t present during the OG Bloodline’s drama but has become an integral part of the current storyline.
Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns will face off in a Tribal Combat on RAW’s Netflix premiere. Jacob could decide who he wants to side with after the contest winner is decided.
That could see him protect his leader by coming in Drew McIntyre’s way. He is a highly physical athlete who could realistically defeat McIntyre and end his revenge tour. A victory will push him to the top of the roster after being held back by WWE in major feuds.
#1. Solo Sikoa is looking to become the one true Tribal Chief after defeating Roman Reigns
Solo Sikoa has lost one too many singles matches in WWE to come across as a threat anymore. He doesn’t look like the favorite to win the Tribal Combat match against Roman Reigns.
However, fans could see a superstar interfere to help him pick up the win and become the one and only Tribal Chief. In that case, Drew McIntyre will have a tougher time getting to Sikoa and defeating him.
Instead, Solo Sikoa could overcome The Scottish Warrior and bag a big win to stay on top of the SmackDown roster and remain relevant as a Tribal Chief.
Roman Reigns will likely be the last stop on Drew McIntyre’s revenge tour. A loss before reaching him could effectively halt his run.
