Vince McMahon is an astute businessman and a madman at the same time. If he likes a wrestler, he can go to any length to support him. In case, the wrestler decides to cross path he definitely does not like it. There have been several wrestlers who quit the company due to their confrontation with Vince. Some have also left due to health reasons or to pursue other interests.

There are few names whom the WWE boss would want to have back in WWE while for some, he would be happy they are gone. We have discussed those wrestlers here.

#4 Wants: Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho fought for almost two decades in WWE before he returned to NJPW in 2017. Everyone, including Vince McMahon, were surprised since he and the WWE boss shared a good relationship with each other. It was reported his contract had expired with WWE and he was a "free agent." After this, he appeared in AEW promotions and signed contracts with them.

This would have definitely hurt Vince since AEW has positioned itself as a solid competition against WWE. Jericho has not been blacklisted in WWE for the simple reason he might rejoin WWE once his contract with AEW is over.

#3 Wants: Goldberg

Goldberg did not have a successful first run with WWE. He spent just one year with WWE and left it in 2004 after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XX. When he rejoined WWE in 2016, according to the Something To Wrestle podcast, Bruce Prichard said Vince was skeptical about signing Goldberg as he did not want to fight full-time.

Vince, however, changed his mind and signed him for a short deal. Goldberg got inducted into 'WWE Hall of Fame' in 2018. It is highly probable Vince gave him this huge honor to lure him into signing a full-time deal and have him back in the ring at the first available opportunity.
