4 Superstars who recently signed a WWE Legends contract

Legends are an important part of the WWE family. They bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that could be useful to today's stars. Arn Anderson's words of encouragement to Cody Rhodes backstage at SummerSlam 2024 were indications of this dynamic.

Established veterans stay connected to the wrestling business, especially if they sign a Legends contract, which puts them in an agreement with WWE. The Undertaker and Kurt Angle have inked such contracts, which explains their sporadic appearances.

'Taker famously appeared in the main event of WrestleMania XL Night Two to take down The Rock in a 'Mania moment for the ages. Angle also appeared on special RAW episodes.

Hulk Hogan and Victoria signed a Legends contract with the Stamford-based promotion. However, new reports have come to light claiming that other prominent veterans have followed suit.

#4 Mick Foley provided a positive update on his future with WWE

Mick Foley is universally revered for his contributions to pro wrestling. The Hardcore Legend was not afraid to put his body on the line to entertain fans during his active career. From taking Spears through burning tables to falling from the top of the cell, Foley dedicated his life to the business.

However, the Hall of Famer has distanced himself from WWE programming in recent years. Foley has been sparingly used since his stint as RAW general manager ended in early 2017. Nonetheless, it appears as if the legend will stay connected with the Stamford-based promotion for the foreseeable future.

Fightful Select broke the news that Foley had signed a Legends deal, allowing him to remain part of the WWE family. It might not be in Foley's best interests to compete again, but he could still be useful in a non-wrestling capacity.

The Hardcore Legend could be used as a Special Guest Referee, a role he took up during Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman inside Hell in a Cell in 2018. Foley could also advise younger stars in backstage segments, reminiscent of the Arn Anderson-Cody Rhodes segment.

#3 Former Women's Champion Jacqueline

Jacqueline was a trailblazer. A two-time WWE Women's Champion and former Cruiserweight Champion, the Hall of Famer broke down doors and accomplished much in her storied career.

The 60-year-old veteran recently became the first African American woman to sign a Legends contract, adding to her long list of accomplishments. She still believes she has much to offer to the wrestling business, including an in-ring comeback.

The Hall of Famer competed in the inaugural 2018 Women's Royal Rumble Match, and Triple H could use her in a similar role.

#2 Armando Estrada

Unlike other names on this list, Armando Estrada is less known for his wrestling career and more recognizable for his managerial roles. Estrada was the general manager of the revamped ECW in 2007 and ringside manager to the late Umaga.

Estrada had not been linked to WWE for over a decade, but that recently changed when he announced that he had signed a Legends contract for five years.

The former manager could be used in a similar role again. Solo Sikoa kicked out Paul Heyman from The Bloodline, and Estrada could fill The Wiseman's shoes in the heel faction.

#1 Ken Shamrock

Ken Shamrock, in many ways, was the perfect combat sports athlete during his active career, which explains the success he had in MMA and WWE. While Shamrock was never able to win the top prize, he still left an indelible footprint on the industry.

The World's Most Dangerous Man, during an interview with Chris Van Vliet, announced that he was under a Legends contract with WWE. This is exciting news, as Shamrock can contribute to the pro wrestling business in many ways.

There are several ways in which Shamrock could be used, but Triple H should first consider a Hall of Fame induction for the veteran.
