4 Superstars who deserve one last push and how it can be booked
There’s an untold flow of events in the Professional Wrestling industry – once you are past your peak, you are expected to be enhancement material for the future generations. However, this comes in a manner that every mainstream fan loses their interest in the said Superstar. After all, who would care about someone who only loses? Yes, life ain’t fair!
Having said that, there are few Superstars in WWE whose legacy in the industry far precedes this flow & deserves to end their careers on a high!
Note: Getting a ‘push’ doesn’t necessarily mean winning a title. It only indicates having a memorable run as a heel or face.
#1 Kane
Of course, he had to be on this list! The ‘Devil’s Favourite Demon’ Kane, is one of the best products that WWE has ever come up with. Since his brilliantly narrated debut over a couple of decades ago, Kane has been a loyal servant of the WWE.
With time, he fell prey to some underwhelming & some really bad storylines (looking at you, Corporate Kane), but none of us can take anything from Glen Jacobs who gave his 100% to everything. So yes, Kane deserves one last push!
How?
The best way to honour someone in Professional Wrestling is to have them pass their torch to someone. It is a way of saying that ‘let us not leave a massive void when you decide to retire’.
Braun Strowman would have been the perfect candidate to do this, but unfortunately, the story has already been dragged on since forever. Some other interesting candidates would be SmackDown Live’s Baron Corbin, AJ Styles or WWE Raw’s Finn Balor (probably tying in the entire Balor Club).
A good storyline where Kane finally succumbs to one the mentioned stars would be a great way to end his career in a memorable manner.
