4 Superstars who should be champions in 2018
For WWE Superstars, championship reigns are more than just accomplishments to be added to their CV. It is a sign that WWE believes that you are a frontrunner in their plans and someone whom fans can identify with. These superstars have enough potential to wrap belts around their waist but will WWE give them a chance?
Here we take a look at four such Superstars who should have championship reigns in 2018.
PS: We believe that Braun Strowman should also hold a title but as he held the Raw Tag team titles earlier, he is disqualified from the list.
#4 Rusev
Right now, Rusev is the most underrated superstar in the WWE. If you are deaf enough to not hear his chant during SmackDown Live, then go to ROH. The Bulgarian Brute's chants can be heard there as well. WrestleMania was the perfect stage for WWE to capitalize on the love the crowd is showing for Rusev, but they had other plans.
The 'Rusev Day' gimmick is the most "over" gimmick on SmackDown Live. WWE had no idea that the fans would respond so highly to it. As long as Rusev is not the champion, his feuds and audience reactions would remain meaningless. WWE should realize that it is high time Rusev becomes the champion.
