4 Things The Usos must do before going their separate ways again in WWE

WWE has had many relationships, alliances, tag teams, and stables break up over the years. Sometimes, these fractured units end up irreparably damaged and they never reunite. However, in some instances, those who split up find their way back to each other.

The Usos are an example of the latter. Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso had a very public and nasty separation just last year and it led to them fighting at WrestleMania XL. Now, the two are back on the same page.

They united courtesy of their little brother, Solo Sikoa, and his version of The Bloodline. While Jimmy and Jey still have a lot of problems to work through, they recognize the threats posed by Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.

However, it is not clear how long The Usos will be reunited. Jey has become a massive singles star and it would be unwise for him to remain in a tag team permanently. As a result, this article will look at things the twin brothers must do before splitting up again.

Below are four things The Usos must do before going their separate ways again in WWE.

#4. They need to win tag team gold on the WWE main roster

The Usos have been incredible as a tag team. As a duo, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso have won more tag team titles than almost anybody. In total, the incredible stars are three-time RAW Tag Team Champions and five-time SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

That is not it for their incredible accomplishments, as they are also the longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history. No duo has held tag team gold in the sports entertainment juggernaut for longer than The Usos.

However, the tag team titles have changed now. SmackDown now has the WWE Tag Team Championship and RAW has the World Tag Team Championship. Now that The Usos are reunited, they must win one or both sets of gold to make sure they are forever linked with these iterations of the prestigious belts.

#3. The Usos must have a dream match with The Motor City Machine Guns

The Motor City Machine Guns are now in WWE. This is big news to long-time wrestling fans, as Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are veterans of the industry who found success in TNA Wrestling and various other promotions.

Not only have Shelley and Sabin made their way to the Stamford-based company, but the two are shockingly the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions. They defeated DIY to become number-one contenders and then proceeded to defeat The Bloodline's Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to win the gold.

Now that Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso and The Motor City Machine Guns are in the same wrestling promotion together for the first time, it is time for the two teams to have a dream match. They are two of the greatest teams of all time, especially in the modern era, so the two sides clashing would be a dream come true for fans.

#2. They should challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championship

WWE has three major brands and a handful of other shows. RAW and SmackDown are the two premier brands and have been for years, but NXT is perhaps the most fresh and exciting of them all. It is for a younger crowd and predominantly features younger performers.

NXT has an exciting men's tag team division. The current NXT Tag Team Champions are Nathan Frazer and Axiom. The young and athletic WWE stars are considered by many to be the best tag team in all of pro wrestling. They deliver something special whenever they wrestle.

The Usos should return to NXT, even if for a brief run, to challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championship. If Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso win the belts, it would add to their incredible legacy. If they lose to Fraxiom, it would give Nathan and Axiom a major push and help make them bigger stars.

#1. The Usos should wrestle outside of WWE

It is a new era for WWE. Vince McMahon is now long gone and Triple H leads the creative direction of the company, with Nick Khan and TKO Group Holdings ultimately being in charge of the direction of the Stamford-based promotion.

This has led to sweeping changes, which many believe have been for the better, that have shocked WWE fans. Perhaps the most surprising is that the company now allows some talent to wrestle for other promotions, albeit with expressed permission from company officials.

Now that The Usos are back together, they should absolutely be some of the select few to wrestle outside of the Stamford-based company. The pair competing in TNA Wrestling, Pro Wrestling NOAH, or even Booker T's Reality of Wrestling could be huge for any of those three promotions. It would also be a memorable moment for Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso, as they have been performing in one company for about 15 years.
