4 Things that will happen if The Rock returns to WWE at Bad Blood

The clock is ticking as Bad Blood is less than 24 hours away. The rumor mill suggests that The Rock will make a massive comeback on the show following a major tease he dropped on social media.

Furthermore, Pat McAfee, close friends with Rocky, told Cody Rhodes that he heard "the big guy was coming back." The commentator provided no further information, but fans are convinced he was referring to The Final Boss.

Assuming The Rock returns on Saturday, the WWE landscape will undergo major changes, including these four predictions.

#4. The Rock could undermine the authority of Triple H and the on-screen General Managers

The beauty of The Rock's latest run in WWE was his tremendous heel work. The success came about as The Brahma Bull incorporated real-life elements into his character. The Hollywood star became a member of TKO's Board of Directors earlier this year.

This new position of power gave him supreme authority, allowing Rocky to turn heel and become The Final Boss. With this intriguing character, he abused his power and exerted control.

The Final Boss fired non-PG shots, made Cody Rhodes' life miserable by booking The Bloodline Rules match, and even coerced the referee into giving him extra leverage at WrestleMania XL: Night One.

If The Final Boss returns to Bad Blood, he will undoubtedly impose his values on RAW and SmackDown again, which may clash with the principles of Adam Pearce, Nick Aldis, and Triple H. As such, from a higher position of authority, he could undermine their power.

#3. The Final Boss might reveal that he was behind Solo Sikoa's takeover

In the wake of Roman Reigns' loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, Solo Sikoa assumed absolute control and began calling the shots, frequently against the advice of The Wiseman, Paul Heyman, who was later expelled from the group.

Throughout this time, Sikoa enlisted dangerous members of The Anoa'i Family into his group, citing that he was acting of his own volition. But, some fans believe that the former NXT North American Champion could be a puppet doing The Rock's bidding.

The Final Boss hesitantly acknowledged Reigns earlier this year, but he may have hidden his true intentions. Watching The Original Tribal Chief fall at 'Mania presented an opening, and he encouraged Sikoa to take over The Bloodline.

As The Rock is busy, he doesn't have the time to do the same. Therefore, he had to rely on Solo Sikoa to lead The Bloodline in a new direction without Reigns.

#2. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will have to remain united

At Bad Blood, the unlikeliest of allies in Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will team up to face their familiar foes - Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Although their motives are clear, fans are unsure if both men will set aside their differences and work together.

However, if The Final Boss returns at Bad Blood, the equation will drastically change. The New Bloodline will grow stronger, an influential authority figure will emerge, and Rhodes and Reigns will have another common enemy.

Consequently, The American Nightmare and The OTC would have to remain united against The Rock and The Bloodline, as they would pose an even bigger threat.

#1. A colossal Civil War within The Bloodline is set up for Survivor Series: WarGames

The Rock's return would bolster Solo Sikoa's existing Bloodline and make life more difficult for Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Some seeds of mistrust have also been planted between Rhodes and the duo of KO and Randy Orton, further shortening his list of allies.

This would lead to The OTC contacting The Usos and Sami Zayn, key members of The Original Bloodline. Reigns could apologize and rally the three men behind his cause to take down his rivals, forming an all-star team.

The reunited babyface team will collide with The Rock and Sikoa's Bloodline inside Survivor Series: WarGames, setting the stage for another civil war.
