4 traditionally male WWE titles that have been held by women
As of the WWE Raw Reunion, the 24/7 Title has now been held by both male and female wrestlers with Kelly Kelly, Candice Michelle, and Alundra Blayze all winning the title during the episode. Kelly Kelly was the first female to win the title after hitting Gerald Brisco with a low-blow. However, the 24/7 title is not the first WWE title to have both male and female champions.
The belt's predecessor, the Hardcore title, was held by both men and women when the belt was active. This largely happened during WWE's Attitude Era when it was considered more acceptable for male and female wrestlers to attack each other.
Since the company transitioned into the PG Era, mixed-gender matches have gone by the wayside, as one of the guidelines of the era has been a complete separation of male and female wrestlers. Men and women were once again brought into the same ring a few years ago, starting with the Mixed Match Challenge. Since then, we have not only seen men and women in the ring together, we've also seen wrestlers of physically attacking a member of a different gender.
There have been several recent examples of this, such as Ronda Rousey squaring off against Triple H during their Mixed-Gender Tag Match at WrestleMania 34. Nia Jax then became the first women to be attacked by a male wrestler during the 2019 Royal Rumble, as Dolph Ziggler, Randy Orton, and Rey Mysterio all hit Nia with their finishers before eliminating her.
This was taken a step further during the Mixed Tag match between Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans at 2019's Extreme Rules PPV. Towards the end of the match, Corbin hit Lynch with the End of Days, before he was attacked by Seth Rollins.
This all seemed to lead towards the events of the Raw Reunion, which saw a traditionally male WWE title switch genders for the first time since Jaqueline defeated Chavo Guerrero to win the Cruiserweight title in 2004.
#4 The 24/7 Title
The 24/7 Title was first introduced on the 20th of May 2019 edition of Raw by the inaugural Hardcore Champion, Mick Foley. The title, due to its ugly design, was originally panned by the fans.
However, thanks to the tireless work by R-Truth and Drake Maverick the title has become one of the most entertaining parts of Monday Night Raw in the recent weeks with R-Truth as the Champion and Drake Maverick trying to win the title while not upsetting his wife.
During the Raw Reunion, the title was passed between legends like Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, and the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. The title was also won by Kelly Kelly, Candice Michelle, and Alundra Blayze, during the episode. Starting with Kelly Kelly hitting Brisco with a low blow to win the title before Alundra Blayze would sell the title to the Million Dollar Man.
Before selling the title to DiBiase, Blayze threatened to bin the 24/7 title in a recreation of the infamous moment on WCW's Monday Night Nitro where she threw the WWF Women's Title in the bin.
